We were so excited to stay with you for our vacation but one of your lifeguards(with a goat beard)were very rude to us at the pool ! It was a bit windy so we weren't allowed to have the parasol open. We moved to the other side of the pool were there was no wind and one of the other lifeguards said it was okay to have the parasol open because I am pregnant and there was no wind. The first lifeguard (whit a goat beard) came back and was very aggressive towards us yelling of took the parasols and threw them in to the bushes and kept yelling at us. He was all up in my boyfriends face and kicked to his sun bed. By the way, the lifeguards had their own parasols open ! We were shocked all four of us ! Is that the way you treat your gusts?? We are definitely not recommending camping village fabulous to anyone ! # Kristina Jensen Denmark
A good option for families with young children, a relaxing and toddler friendly environment. The pool for small children is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our only glitch was that the driver forgot the children's car seats for the airport transfer but luckily another driver at the airport had car seats. There was no issue on the return journey.
We arrived here around 8pm. We were given a map and where our lodge was located. This complex rates itself as a 4 star. The facilities are good, as a few campsites the shop opens at weird times. The wifi is rubbish, we got none in our room. We were the furthest from the reception. The bed was uncomfortable. The lodge had all the cooking utensils you would need. There we not enough pillows or towels. The water was hot.
We stayed with eurocamp for the first time at camping fabulous with our children aged 8 and 5, I was unsure what to expect but the experience totally exceeded all our expectations. We arrived at FCO with no transfer so booked an uber through their app, it arrived within 7 mins and the fare was £36 euros which was much less than other taxis had said. The site was beautiful, so well kept, immaculate. The pizzas were fantastic and the ice cream was lovely and really good value for money. We used the on site market a lot, in my opinion it was really well stocked and items were fairly priced. Entertainment was some of the best we have seen and the team were always so enthusiastic, our children loved them. The reception were always really helpful with any queries we had. We travelled into Rome twice using the shuttle provided by the site, which runs every 30 mins throughout the morning, once your on the metro it's really easy to reach all the sights in rome. We also visited ostia antica which I would highly recommend, the whole family found the site really interesting and the pace is much slower compared to the city. Anyone thinking of going I'd advise pack comfy shoes for walking and to read lots of reviews as we found them useful ourselves and enjoy!
Another visit to this perfect site, well located for access to Rome. We have been visiting here, with our 2 children now aged 8 & 6, since 2012. We have always loved it and this year was no exception- in fact it exceeded our expectations. The site and pool complex is spotless and lots of fun. The pool bar is great and serves fantastic pizzas. Staff very helpful and welcoming. This year the animation team were especially fabulous and my son loved joining in the activities - football, volleyball, water polo. The restaurant / bar area is hugely improved and my children enjoyed a lovely evening eating pizza and playing mini golf, organised by the animation team. To top it all off breathtaking Rome is half an hour away. I can't recommend this site enough and we look forward to returning for many years to come. See you soon, Camp Fabulous! 🇮🇹
We did 10 nights at the end of May after booking through camping selection. The weather was fantastic everyday 29 degrees with slight breeze. The check in was easy as was the transfer from airport 20 min away. Our mobile home was close to the pool area which was great to pop back for our daily lunch on our large deck. The mobile was clean and had everything we needed. The pool facilities are awesome as it was our first camp site we were shocked how great the 2 pools are for our 2 kids 12 and 6. As well as all the entertainment team who made our stay extra special for both kids and me. The kids clubs are great and they try fit everyone in. I loved the new spin cycling in the pool as well as the football and yoga. The entertainers made them great as they are like bunny rabbits who are always making everything fun. Traveling to Rome is handy but my kids just missed the pool area and entertainment team so we just did two days in Rome . But we agreed we would just return without them some day soon as Rome is amazing in every way!!! A true must see for everyone . We will be back and I would highly recommend this camp site and thank you to the animation team for making our time so special.
Our second visit to this site in approx 5 years. Seems even better this time around! Staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Stayed with al fresco - definitely book with these again. What a great rep Kevin so helpful and accommodating. Suitably placed for visit into the city on public transport. Cheap and cheerful! However plenty to do on site if you wish to just relax and bask in Italian sunshine. On- site restaurant busy but great atmosphere so worth a visit. Crazy golf well kept course and enjoyed every minute. Pools great and plenty of loungers even during half term. On site supermaket good but closes at 8pm so be aware be those who are arriving late. Campsite has a great on line chat service and respond to queries. We will definitely visit again for a 3rd time.
Just back from a week in Camping Fabulous. After reading some reviews I didn't know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. The campsite was very clean and lovey cobbled roadways throughout. The kids pool was perfect for younger children. I had a 15 and 17 year old so would have liked if there had been bigger slides for them. Having said that they were very happy with the larger pool. The entertainment staff were excellent and always so pleasant and enthusiastic. There was plenty of activities organised if you wanted to join in. the poolside bar had great pizzas that you could also take out for €9...they were huge. Soft drinks and beers were however expensive. The supermarket was perfectly adequate and prices comparative to home. We ate in the restaurant 2 nights, the first was very busy and chaotic, after being seated for about 10 mins we had to ask for the menus and people in after us had their order taken before ours so I would suggest a better system on that front. There were plenty of staff working but think they just need to be better organised. We did the Rome by Night Tour from the campsite which was good if a bit rushed. It would have been nice to have had an hour to do our own thing rather then just 15 mins !! Maybe not suitable for older people or buggies as the tour guide went at a fast pace, also a map of the route taken would be helpful especially if you lost your group !! Overall we had a really lovely time at Camping Fabulous, the weather was fantastic and the staff very pleasant and helpful and we were very happy with the site in general. Yes it is a bit out of the way and you are depending on public transport which lets face it with temperatures reaching mid 20's by 9am would not appeal to everyone. Perhaps the campsite should consider running a shuttle bus to the beach or to attractions such as Hydromania with tickets included I think visitors would like that. We stayed with Canvas Holidays, the mobile was ok but have stayed on other campsites where their Mobile Homes are more modern. Also its much cheaper to hire linen and towels directly from reception at the site.
We stayed with Eurocamp who were fine but their reception didn't open until 3 and there was a lot of people waiting for just 1 person to check in, they need more staff on this. The campsite reception and info point were good. Good points: Everywhere is immaculate The pools were brilliant Animation team worked very hard and were great with the kids Live music some nights Bad points: Mini market was expensive and limited (but the staff were very friendly) In the restaurant the food was hit and miss and service was really bad We didn't use the airport shuttle as it worked out very expensive compared to a private transfer. We did use the free transfer to Rome which was good but only take you to the Metro, you need to use local buses to get back which took a very long time. If I came back I'd hire a car to make it easier to eat out locally, go to supermarket and drive to beach, Rome, etc. We had a great week here. It's great for young children.
Great, clean camping village. We stayed in a static caravan in May 2017. There are two pools, one with slides for kids and another one for adults with deeper water, a playground for children, you can hire bike or pedal car on site, The village includes two Italian restaurants, supermarket, and bars. In the evening there were entertainments for kids, during a day activity on swimming pool for adults. Great place close to Rome, so you can easily explore Italian capital city. My family was really happy that we stayed there. Highly recommended place to visit.
