Travelled for 2 weeks in July with 2 adults and 2 children. We arrived very early and our cabin wasn`t available for a few hours, however the security staff were so obliging and gave me the wrist bands to allow us to use the facilities which was perfect after a long flight. The location is no more than 20 mins from the airport and the same from Rome city centre. We booked with Eurocamp and i have to say their staff are excellent. we booked in no issues and the cabin was spotlessly clean had all the essentials. The staff popped by the following day to make sure all was OK and were very pleasant and recommended a few local sites etc. The facilities on site were superb, the market was always fully stocked and too be fair not too expensive, again the staff in the shop were always helpful and friendly. The site itself was well attended with staff constantly cleaning the general areas and the laundry room/showers were also spotless. The entertainment crew are a credit to the site as they seemed to be on the go all the time but were always very friendly and full of energy. The kids disco and entertainment was great and kept them all very interested. The pool area was well looked after and too be fair was well staffed. The restaurant on site was excellent with a great choice on the menu. The ice cream shop was too die for and again value for money. The only down side which is not the fault of the camp was the fact there is no local town within walking distance but the place was so good you didn`t need to leave at all. I would highly recommend this site and would not have anything negative to say about it, Fabulous is the perfect name.
Very clean well run site. 2 swimming pools with poolside bar/pizzeria in centre of site. At main entrance there is a supermarket & large bar/ cafe. Alongside this is probably the best campsite restaurant we have experienced, very professional with a varied value for money menu. We booked thru Vacansoliel but you can book direct with campsite. Had 3 great days in city of Rome using this as our base. Great holiday
The accommodation was basic and needed a good clean. The snack bar was not kept clean as the tables were all dirty and the floor was full of litter. The restaurant was disappointing we had to send our food back to be cooked The plus sides were the ice cream parlor, the shop had a good selection, the camp site had wonderful views
the whole park is kept in really good order, clean and tidy. theres a large lagoon for younger kids which was great, and a swimming pool with a nice bar. there were always plenty of sunbeds, even at the weekends when the site is noticably busier. the pool bar is quite expensive for beer, cold drinks but we brought our own after a few days. snacks at it were lovely and reasonably priced. you could easily live from the wee supermarket on site but for a much wider marginally cheaper selection i'd recommend a dander down to the local supermarket. prior to going i read all sorts of nonsense on here about how far away it is, but its a 10 min dander from front gate, maybe a bit longer home carrying bags or whatever. theres a nice bar up near the entrance, takeaway pizza was very reasonable from here. we ate in the bistro one night and i have to say this was the only negative i can really cast on the site, service was average at best and the food was nothing special, i wouldnt go again but that minor point shouldnt take anything away from overall experience. the shuttle bus to local train station is handy, arrive a good 15-20 mins early to make sure you get on the next one. public transport into rome was straight forward enough, however avoid going home again at peak time, 5pm - 7pm, as the bus back to the campsite can be very busy. overall i would 100% recommend this site
We booked direct with the campsite ECVecanze. The park is lovely, clean and well kept and we found that the staff were very nice and helpful. Good eating options, although the takeaway service was so slow (waited an hour for food). We loved the poolside eatery place and the icecream booth, good prices and service. The pool area is amazing, especially the lagoon pool! The only downside was that the accomodation was well below what we'd expected - although the layout and size of it was really good, it was badly in need of upgrading and maintenence (we had the Botticelli). My sister's family, who had also stayed at the park that week, had booked with Canvas and their accomodation was in a far better condition, although smaller. It appears that each holiday company have their own types of accomodation. I'd also advise that the holiday home only has the basics included - there was no iron, hairdryer, toaster, oven (only hob), all of which we'd have found handy to have. Luckily the accomodation has air-con which was needed 24hrs a day during a very hot (32-35 degrees) week there. If we were to return in the future, we'd probably choose a time of year when it's a bit cooler, as it could be really hard to cope with at times. There is a free shuttle service from the camp to the metro station, which is fantastic, as then you can get wherever you want in Rome very easy - only 1.50 euros for 100min travel on any bus/metro/train. Definitely recommend the Fabulous holiday park to anyone.
2 week family holiday with Eurocamp - vista 2 bed caravan, 20 minutes drive from Ciampino airport. Easily found and easy check-in. Caravan well maintained/clean/functional. Site itself also very clean. Good amenities - pools well maintained, on site shop functional for requirements. Supermarket cheaper and within 10 minutes drive. Shuttle bus to local metro station made journey into rome easy. Unfortunately need to use service bus on the way back to the site - this was nothing short of horrific - hot/smelly/crowded. so we took car and parked in EUR Magliana metro car park - a much more pleasant experience. Took the advertised trip to Pompeii which was very well run and very informative. Evening entertainment variable. Pool was busy at all times, but pleasant and could not complain as it is a family resort. Pool bar/food good quality. Need a few more sun shades around the pool - very quickly all taken. Overall a good, relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend it as a place to take the family.
nice with 2 pool 1 only for kid pooooosto meravigliosa per famiglie con banbini hanno un play ground for kid 3 resturant groscery store bus to take you to mestro close to ostia antica and rome many activity for the all family
We stayed in a 3 bed cabin and it was amazing. The staff were brilliant (Trying to avoid using the word fabulous). The facilities on site are great and if your looking for a budget holiday or a family friendly spot then this is your place. We don't have a family but it was still great and the restaurant on site is very good. Enjoy this place. Italy should really review its stupid tourist tax.
Stayed in a caravan at eurocamp 4 in a 2 bed little tight in caravan but there was a very big patio where we could eat and have a pleasant drink made for a very pleasant stay the reps at eurocamp where very good and could not have looked after us any better easy to get to rome from here but be carefull coming back you need to check the bus times to the camp restaurants on camp very good and reasonable on price.
We were so excited to stay with you for our vacation but one of your lifeguards(with a goat beard)were very rude to us at the pool ! It was a bit windy so we weren't allowed to have the parasol open. We moved to the other side of the pool were there was no wind and one of the other lifeguards said it was okay to have the parasol open because I am pregnant and there was no wind. The first lifeguard (whit a goat beard) came back and was very aggressive towards us yelling of took the parasols and threw them in to the bushes and kept yelling at us. He was all up in my boyfriends face and kicked to his sun bed. By the way, the lifeguards had their own parasols open ! We were shocked all four of us ! Is that the way you treat your gusts?? We are definitely not recommending camping village fabulous to anyone ! # Kristina Jensen Denmark
