While my single room was very small, it was clean, had A/C, a good mattress and good pillows, and a modern, clean bathroom. There is an elevator. There's a very nice bar and tables off the lobby and a lovely courtyard for drinks, or just relaxing. Breakfast was an expansive buffet and included scrambled eggs (a rarity in Italy). The hotel is literally a 5-minute walk from Rome Termini railroad station, hub for rail connections all over Italy and the direct rail link to Fiumicino airport. Many restaurants a couple blocks away. It was worth paying more than I usually pay for the convenience.
It was a very nice stay overall. The location and breakfast were actually good. A short walking distance from main attractions in Rome. We used the hop-on hop-off tour for two days we were there and we say all the must-see sites.
We had a nice experience, location and staff very good.
The first room we got was not good. It had barely any natural sunlight and was really, really small and we had our baby with us so there was no room for our luggage, her stroller, and a bed for her. We could barely walk around the bed. However, the staff was happy to change us to another room which had a great big window for light. The room wasn't much bigger, but enough to fit our things and have some space left over to be comfortable. We spent 3 nights there and were happy with it. The hotel and our room was very clean and breakfast was decent. Some of the staff were extremely kind and welcoming while others were lacking some customer service skllls. For the Price (relative to the prices in all of Rome) this is a fair deal. IT was also really close to the train station and the tour bus stop so we just had to walk a couple blocks each day to catch the tour and could walk with all of our luggage to the strain station easily. So we saved money on taxis as well.
We stayed during a week of rain, so our warm room was a Godsend for drying our coats and shoes each day! Close to termini station, walking distance to many of rome's attractions, it was a good place for us to stay. Off season prices helped I'm sure!
ALthough in the train station enighborhood, this hotel was a real surprise. Beautifully decorated throughout, includung breakfast room. The garden was an added feature to relax in. Staff was totally available at all times. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
Friendly staff, near Termini and Piazza Indipendenza with taxi station.
Our experiences were generally very good! Only two things which could be improved: breakfast lacks warm food and Wi-Fi is not included in the price.
