Old style look and carpated rooms. Elevators are very slow. Breakfast is just avarage, all cold stuff (3/10) Bathrooms are not maintained well to the current living standards. No exhaust in the rooms whatsoever.

The only good is area. Hotel’s rooms are outdated. Our room was dark, filthy, refrigerator and TV didn’t work, behind it was covered in thick dust, shower drain was clogged…. Not a pleasant stay 😞

Great location, which is probably why this hotel gets away with its run down condition. Furnishings are very tired, bathroom smelt of drains, over bath shower with no curtain so water went everywhere making the smooth tiled floor lethal. No ironing facility in the room and when I asked for one it was like I'd offended someone. Was probably a great hotel about 20 years ago.

The nice thing about this hotel was the location. In a great location! You can walk to lots of restaurants, shopping and the Colosseum. However, we found the check in staff to be rude, less than helpful. The porter was equally rude and didn't seem to want to assist in anyway. The next morning staff was no better. The only nice staff was the housekeeping staff. The hotel was musty and the room very small. Overall, the location is awesome and I'd stay here again but will never stay here due to the rudeness and unfriendliness of staff. They act like they are doing you a favor. Extremely rude.

We booked this hotel because it was convenient and looked good in pictures. The staff were helpful and friendly, but the room !!! Dirty, mattresses old and lumpy, small and the bathroom was awful with a blocked shower that made it useless. It wasnt cheap, because of location, but basic standards were missing. We will be back in Rome but not at this hotel

I love the palazzo but on my personal opinion they need to clean a little bit more, restrooms a little dirty and overall rooms and public areas have a lot of dust everywhere. Palazzo it is beautiful but need a little more love!!

The Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi is a charming, historic property (former residence of a Pope) in the heart of Rome just ten minutes walk from the Colosseum and Forum Romanum and five minutes walk from Termini Station, the Palazzo Massimo, one of Rome’s treasures, and a real mix of restaurants and night life. You can’t get more convenient!! What makes this little gem the best hotel in Rome is the staff. who make every stay at their hotel feel like you’re coming home!!

The hotel is in the heart of the city, which I really liked. We stayed for three days and our air conditioner did not work well. They said they fixed it and put a fan in our room, but it did not help much. Each time we asked the front desk for help, they seemed put out to answer the questions. The breakfast was slow and did not have a lot of variety.

The hotel is NOT a 4 stars hotel: maybe in its golden times. It is old with the smell of humidity, old furniture and the electric system in the room shut down every time the kettle was working. Breakfast is poor and the two men who attended it saved the time. They were very pleasant and served with a smile. They were the only good thing the breakfast had to offer. The cleaning lady was lovely as well. As for the reception, only one of the 3 persons in charge was willing to provide information with a GREAT attitude. The other two men should consider changing their jobs, because they are not fitted for guest services reception. Overall, the neighborhood is very well located with a taxi station in front, nice restaurants, places to do laundry and the big landmark of Santa Maria Maggiore. Nevertheless, I won’t go again to this hotel.
