This property was amazing! Staff is friendly and they truly make you feel special. The staff knew our names and made sure we were always accommodated. The food was great, especially the seafood. Lots of food options to choose from. To be honest we hardly saw any shows, because there was always so much to do and choose from. The rooms were very romantic, and I loved the turn down service. The only one thing I was a bit disappointed on was the fresh coconuts (only on special days) they would or could not crack them open for you. I have stayed at other resorts and they always crack them open and scoop out the meat after you are done with your drink....its an added bonus. Over all I would highly recommend this resort.
We have stayed at Secret hotels before. It is no longer a quiet romantic vacation since ownership changed! They sell out to corporate parties. There were 4 different huge employee parties going on the 5 days we were there one night had 3 different ones with all different loud music rowdy screaming and roped off a lot of the hotel grounds. Save your extra 2K because this was like a Carnival cruise line. The grounds are fabulous and staff around the resort great the front desk gave us the worst location even though we paid for an upgraded swim up room. They tried to charge us an additional 400 a night they keep all the ocean front buildings for this up sell technique they leaving you sitting at the desk waiting forever for a manager who never showed up so we walked away. We were even willing to down grade to a normal room to not be the swim up room in the first building with very loud neighbors but they wanted 200 more a night for that. It was crazy. So save your money secrets are no longer what they advertised. We spoke with other couples who felt the same way. Such a waste of money. Also traffic is heavy so leave early for the airport.
My sister and I went here for an adult only vaca. The grounds were stunning and well kept. The beach is beautiful with very minimal seaweed during our stay. The staff was awesome and attentive. Drinks and food were great! There are nightly shows which we enjoyed everyone we went too! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Definitely 10/10 and would love to go back!

Amazingly beautiful and peaceful
The property was beautiful. The staff was great. Check in was quick. Everybody was helpful. The food at the restaurants was great. The buffet was ok which is pretty standard but the dinner restaurants were good. The seaside grill and barefoot grill had great food to enjoy on the beach or by the pool.
Its an absolutely beautiful property and the staff and service was very good for the most part. I would of given an excellent rating if it wasnt for the food quality. The dinner options and quality of food was not the best...I was with 13 other people and we all dined at all of the different restaurants and found the service to be slow and 3 out of 5 dinners that I had were poor to be honest. Plus took a long time to get served and they were not busy. The only food that was awesome was the Burgers from Seaside Cafe and the breakfast buffet at Rainbow cafe. Dinner at Italian restaurant - food was good - service was extremely slow. French Restaurant two of had the Filet and it was tough and overcooked and service was soooo slow. Japanese dinner was the only restaurant that all 13 agreed was perfect. Now besides all that - the service at the pools and beaches was awesome and the drinks were very good. I will be back for sure since it is such a beautiful surrounding and relaxing...and next time I will know to stay away from certain restaurants and go to the restaurants where the food was good.
