Perfect food a'la carte, very nice service and nice spacious rooms. Worth recomendation. No kids option is a big advantage.

If you arrive earlier then 3pm they don't let you check in early unless you want to pay $50 more. I went on Sept 2nd and 3rd and the whole resort was Practically empty there was no sun but more like a hurricane.. there is no beach but that's already said on the website. This resort is great if you want to disconnect from the world and eat. Best food ever.

We went from Houston and this was exactly what we were looking for. The facilities are clean the service is excelent, the food exquisite they have an excellent chef, we felt safe; This place is highly recommended, we will surely be returning next year.

I really wanted to love this resort! I rarely do reviews. When we arrived the location was fantastic, the lobby beautiful and tranquil. The check in was easy and Martin at the front desk was great. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. The view was gorgeous from the little cove where the ocean water splashes in, although there was a lot of trash in the water that I thought should have been removed. The pool was very cold, and the jacuzzis were cold. We went up to our room and the decor was dated, but mostly clean. There was a nice little chocolate and champagne set up in our room, which was lovely. My only complaints were that the bathroom tile next to the toilet was covered in vomit, or possibly feces. There was visible grossness. The water was a strange color orange out of the tap, but it was hot and so not a problem. I expected a little more cleanliness and luxury based on the reviews and the photos. Food was better than expected for an all inclusive. The staff was somewheat friendly. Not everyone though, only a select few. My main complaints are the noise levels when inside the rooms, and the beds. We could hear literally EVERY sound our neighbors made. It was quite annoying to be woken up by the sounds of laughing and toilet flushes. The other main complaint was the bed and pillows. We were both so uncomfortable! The beds were hard as a rock, and the pillows so high that we barely slept. I have few desires when staying at a hotel, bed comfort and cleanliness.

This is a nice hotel close to everything, beach is 10 minutes away with a bike( the provide free bikes tho a little old they could improve that), also because the hotel has no direct access to the beach but a beautiful infinity pool, tulum town is 15 min away by bike and the strip of restaurants and bars is 5 minutes away. Food was good and diverse, except for breakfast but nevertheless good quality and staff especially room service, restaurant, dining and pool bar excellent. Only think I didn't like at all was the cleaning service, the ladies were super nice and said yes every time you asked for something ( I speak Spanish so no misunderstanding there) but then they would never get it done and always forgot something, from toilet paper to put a blanket back on the bed. Just the guy that works in the morning was very nice and if he couldn't do something right away would come back to do it later, example, I skied if they could please spray something in the room that would take care of mosquitoes, while the ladies said yes two days in a row and never bothered to actually doing it, the boy told me he would come back with it and actually did. Just be honest that's all. Rodrigo, santos, Alexis, the older man at pool bar and the guys in the kitchen were my favorite people! So nice and professional and always with a smile! Also the lady at the store was very helpful. All in all I really liked my stay, I stayed 12 days and it was what a wanted a place to relax!

Nice, too many bugs in the room though..very nice hotel

We had a great time and we loved that we could take the bikes or walk to the beach nearby. The food was great and the options were amazing. We really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and in particular, Julio was very helpful to us. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends and family, we had a fantastic time. Very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed to get away and enjoy our vacation.

Staff was great, very friendly. Some spoke very little English. Some managers were rude. The food tasted good but often made both of us sick. We spoke to the manager about it but he didn't really say much. About halfway through our stay, the food started tasting a little better. The hotel was beautiful but tons of mosquitoes got into our room. Our room was on the first floor and had a crack in the door (by design) that let the bugs in and if it rained in the direction of the door the floor got wet. The bath tubs are pretty much useless. It takes too long to fill up (over an hour) and the water isn't warm either. The bartenders at the pool are great. Very friendly and fun. Overall we like Tulum but would not stay at this hotel again. It's pricing for the quality of stay you receive.

Pros - beach views are great, everything you need is there, food is decent, nice rooms with jacuzzi Cons - no beach access, beds are terribly uncomfortable, not a large liquor variety

As soon as you approach you feel like royality. Soft music beautiful aroma (oils) refreshing beverage and you just stepped into the lobby. Your escorted to your room. Staff are customer centered. Ocean view is out of this world.

I cannot speak highly enough about my stay. My room was beautiful and had a jacuzzi tub on the balcony. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was great. We could easily ride bikes to the beach or the ruins. The area of Tulum with the great restaurants and boutique shops was a short 100 peso cab ride. I cannot imagine having a better stay.

Everything was great staff very professional and cheerful. The grounds clean and well kept. I will return in a heartbeat.

Great experience very comfortable rooms and the all inclusive service is good but could be better

The hotel is beautiful and the staff top notch. If you are looking for nite life however, this is not the place. The resort and the surrounding area are very quiet. The food ranged from terrific to better than average. But the staff was very attentive and helpful in arranging trips to the beautiful surrounding locations/attractions.

The hotel was nice but not worth $250 a night per person, Food was okay but Same as cheaper All Inclusive hotels. Rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly, but again not worth the $$.

The hotel itself is beautiful! The one downside is that the beach in front of the hotel is not swimmable. There are tons of bikes though that u can rent from the hotel for free and the beach is only a 5 min beautiful bike ride away. The food - esp dinner- was so disappointing. Food was pretty awful but the staff is so incredible that you almost forgot how bad the food is. If u are looking for wild nights this is not the place for u, but if u are looking for a quiet romantic place, this is perfect

Very positive experience. Not a five star resort, but very solid four stars, with everything we were looking for, above all carefree relaxation. The food in the all-inclusive plan was good, not great, maybe half a notch below the other services. Bartenders were friendly and skilled. Yoga and meditation classes are included in the price. If you're looking for swimming, the pool is lovely but not well-shaped for swimming laps, and to get to the nice sandy beaches nearby, you must either walk two kilometers or take a cab. Until recently, this was a gay men's resort, so many clients are gay, but I hope that doesn't bother anyone reading this review.
