The room blocks out no sound it appeared there were two families in a single room that weren’t very quiet. At breakfast I requested an extra bread product and explained that my friends sugar was extremely low and was told we got my allotment and o could give her mine.

The room is better than our expectation considering the price. Overall very clean and the beds are comfortable. Fridge, microwave, a dining table and two chairs, and free breakfast. But the hair dryer is terrible. I had to go to bed with wet hair.

the front staff was not helpful. kept calling because i was going to have trouble getting to register on time. kept reaching encono lodge with the number i was given for. Xola. one time it just kept on ringing w/no answer. has to leave to CA . on the road the front desk answered and was told i had no reservation. tried again same result==no reservation. tried again a man answered and explained that i was going to be very late do to accident on the I-10 . said i could not check in because i was arriving at 8am i had to wait until 3pm on fri did not say if i had a reservation or not. on fri morning i called expedia the agent finally spoke to Xola and confirmed i had a reservation and could check in now at 2pm on fri. i paid for what you call stay protection plan. front desk person said i could not get refund for thursday the 25th. this was the first Expedia. rented as csr under Expedia also that what wrong had to cancell at the rental place. now i have to go go to the trouble of getting a refund!!

Rooms need to be kept up. The shower curtain did not fit the tub causing water to come out. The complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. Covid is over. I should have been able to grab my own items. The employee was rude and was rushing us. We were the only ones there.

Room still had someone eyelashes on the headboard, when called housekeeping they gave me a hard time about cleaning the beds. They left a bed set in a black garage bag by the door. The phone kept making loud noises in the middle of the night . People yelling and arguing in the halls.

For the price, I was pleased. Was clean. No bigs. A little cheap on the breakfast, but I can live with that. The parking lot does has some interesting characters hanging out at the bowling lot on the other side. And the parking lot has HUGE pot holes, which scraped both rims on one side

Not a bad option for a lesser price room.

I did appreciate the quality of the in room shampoo/body wash and lotion. For whatever reason, both rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom were soaking wet. The room smelled musty, and it could be because there seemed to have been water damage in the ceiling. Paint peeling off the walls because of that I suspect. The ceiling tiles look to have been affected. The vents in the rooms could use a dusting for/cleaning. The immediate area seemed to be fairly safe, but there were quite a lot of people hanging around outside. At any given time. But I did not feel “unsafe“. The staff was quite nice. And I did not want room service/maid service so I cannot comment on that.
