I almost didn't book this hotel due to the negative reviews I saw here but the price was fair and I really wanted a place to rest between flights. I am so glad I didn't listen to the reviews. The hotel is perfect. First I would like to emphasize that this is an airport hotel. Therefore the idea is not to spend a week or a longer stay. The rooms are small, but so what? You are there just for one night or less. I wouldnt recommend this place for a long stay, if that's your plan, you will be disappointed. There is nothing around the hotel, except the airport. The transfer is fantastic, I also saw some complains about that. It was fast and efficient. Try waiting for a transfer in Houston airport? You wait forever!!! I didn't eat so I can't comment on that. But if one is concern about the food, just take the shuttle to the airport and have dinner there. It is fast and they have a lot of options. The shuttle takes 5 minutes. I didn't use the pool but I liked the fact that it was an option. I arrived and was checked in by a very nice employee ( unfortunately I didn't remember his name). He was young and extremely helpful. My room was small but enough for a good rest. The AC worked perfectly and the shower was fantastic. I loved the lemon soap. I actually put the leftover and brought home with me. The Tv was great and I watched movies in English non stop. So, Be careful when you write bad reviews, this is an airport hotel, not a place to spend a holiday in Rio. I am glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews!
This is a very basic hotel for travellers who need to stay near the airport- from that point of view it is most convenient. But that is all the hotel has going for it. The Sodexo run restaurant is terrible, service atrocious. Reception staff uncaring and slow- hopeless. Find somewhere else UNLESS you need the convenience for the easy access to the airport.
That is bad customer service! I had an min cancellation booking and my flight was delayed so I missed my connection flight to Rio. The airline gave me new tickets via Sao Paulo so I couldn't stay in this hotel but they didn't met me cancel it for free. Never again.
Cold food that I waited over an hour for. Damp room with no aircon. Breakfast was ok but limited hot choices. Shuttle bus ran whenever it wanted to in the end I used a taxi. Booked for 3 nights but only stayed 2. Dining area is very basic and overall ok to sleep one night only. Look elsewhere.
Fine for an overnight near the airport. Exit into the arrivals hall from customs and turn left. Look for a green stand with the Linx logo. Call, and they will direct you to pickup which was on the third floor, door/gate 4 near the rental car shuttle pickups. There is a Linx sign. I only waited a minute for pick up. Short ride along and across a busy road to the hotel. I was able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. Staff were friendly. Room had two twins. Very comfortable with crisp white sheets. I had no trouble with noise. Wifi works very well. A/c worked great , too. Only negative is the restaurant food. It's quite boring but edible. Dinner service is slow. Need more staff and menus. Some language barrier with staff but manageable. Overpriced for what you receive. Breakfast was included; it is a buffet. Again, not inspired.
Very clean neat hotel, the room was very clean and well prepared and it has everything you need. The hotel has a pool, gym and restaurant. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport free of charge.
The hotel is situated just off the main arrival road to the airport. I was staying there overnight before an appointment in the airport and then a flight home. The lobby is spacious and there are a few people available on the front desk. They speak English as well as Portuguese. The room was clean. I had twin beds in mine and the air conditioning was already on so it was pleasant after a days travelling. The wifi is pretty seamless from the room to the lobby to the restaurant. It was fast enough to stream some video and did not cut out like other hotels in Brazil I have used. The food is pretty well priced, portions not over large as can be the case in some restaurants. However the cost of drinks is a bit of a shock. R$15 for a can on beer and R$18 for a long neck. The capirinha was excellent though. Not too sweet but nice and strong. This again was R$18. One good thing though is that the price you see is the price you pay. No added service charges to inflate the price. The Hotel must be good as the Flamengo Football team checked in just before I left. The check out was easy and the shuttle bus left on time. If there are too many people they come back and do a second run which is very good. As another poster has said it is a nicer experience than the Airport Hotel. The hotel is well protected. There is a large fence and gate across the entrance which I guess is closed at night. Could confirm it as I was asleep. There was no noticeable aircraft or traffic noise in my room. Also even though I was in the closet room to the elevators there was no noise I could hear from the corridor. The lemon smelling soap in the shower was great for feeling refreshed afterwards. Enjoy your stay.
Room was basic, acceptable, AC worked fairly quietly, window actually opened, good bed, modern attractive bathroom, front desk staff were helpful, multi-lingual, courteous. Dinner at the restaurant was uninspiring, as was breakfast with coffee that was not Brazil's best. The Linx is good for a brief stay between an international arrival and onward transportation, saving the expense and traffic of heading to central Rio. The Linx shuttle service is a bonus as the hotel is very close to the airport so one might understand why taxi drivers aren't interested in a cheap fare. Contrary to a previous report, you do not need to call for the shuttle, it comes about every 20 minutes. I called to learn where to expect it, and in no time it arrived. If you come in the southern winter as I did, do not be surprised if it is too cool, clammy and even foggy, i.e. not pool weather.
Good airport hotel but food can improve. Hotel is very near to airport and it is better then airport hotel. Internet is good and there is windows on this hotel because on hotel inaide airport building there is no windows 😂
The hotel offer free shuttle to/from the airport (ca 1.5 km). Rooms were clean and cimfortable. Breakfast was really nice and the staff was really helpful. The rooms were very small though, and you can hear doors and people outside easily. Our refrigerator sounded like a boenig 747 turbojet engine, but after unplugging it we slept better.... The the AC started, which made the NASA spacecraft Discovery sound like a children's song in comparison!
