I was trying for more than an hour to let them know I was checking up late, but no answer ! More than an hour! I could not find out where is his shuttle picking up customers. was not helping either. Really bad service.

This is a rather new Hotel - but repairs are already underway. The check-in is a bit slow but part of it is due to the cumbersome Brazilian paperwork. But an extra person would help. Bed, bath and air conditioning all were good. Breakfast is very good with nice coffee. The swimming pool looks great but one wonders, if it is ever used. Gym is well equipped. Shuttle bus is every 20 min. Since the ride out to the airport can take up to 2 hours- yes traffic can be that bad! - staying here will give you peace of mind.

The hotel is modern and clean. The staff were super friendly and spoke both Portuguese and English fluently. The hotel has a free shuttle bus as well. When you exit customs turn left and walk towards the linx phone booth to confirm the shuttle bus. Then take the 2 escalators up to the departures section. Exit door D and go to the right where there is a linx sign (the taxi drivers may try to tell you to wait for the shuttle at door d downstairs which is incorrect - then when it doesn't arrive because you are waiting in the wrong place they will offer to drive you for 50 reais!).

Husband & I stayed over night at this hotel, as we were coming to the end of our world tour & had one more flight to take. We have stayed in many different hotels, not all top of the range but at least a bit of character. First impression it looked grubby from the outside. There had been a water leak & the ceiling had collapsed, no problem accidents happen. The cafe area was uninviting, so didn't feel we could sit there for a alcoholic drink. Not everybody wants to sit in their hotel room. Room was fine, but would of been nice to have a kettle etc. Restaurant - the menu for the restaurant needed reviewing. Husband's pizza was cold, so went back to the kitchen. My chicken & rice was fine. Same menu for lunch & evening meal. Breakfast was ok, but nothing exciting.

I stayed at the LINX with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) for a night. It is a convenient place to stay as it is just 10 minutes away from the international airport and they have a shuttle service to and from the airport every 20 minutes. But that's about it. Room was clean but very plain. Service level and breakfast were below expectations for a hotel in a prime location and charges as if it was a 4-start hotel. I would only recommend it for an overnight stay between flights. Nothing else.

If you have an overnight stay of say 10-12 hours in Rio it makes sense to stay there. Basic room but clean. Good shower though. Towels could be newer. AC unit a little strong on bed but otherwise hot in the room. Service is friendly. Breakfast is fine. I'd stay here again if I had a short overnight in Rio.

I almost didn't book this hotel due to the negative reviews I saw here but the price was fair and I really wanted a place to rest between flights. I am so glad I didn't listen to the reviews. The hotel is perfect. First I would like to emphasize that this is an airport hotel. Therefore the idea is not to spend a week or a longer stay. The rooms are small, but so what? You are there just for one night or less. I wouldnt recommend this place for a long stay, if that's your plan, you will be disappointed. There is nothing around the hotel, except the airport. The transfer is fantastic, I also saw some complains about that. It was fast and efficient. Try waiting for a transfer in Houston airport? You wait forever!!! I didn't eat so I can't comment on that. But if one is concern about the food, just take the shuttle to the airport and have dinner there. It is fast and they have a lot of options. The shuttle takes 5 minutes. I didn't use the pool but I liked the fact that it was an option. I arrived and was checked in by a very nice employee ( unfortunately I didn't remember his name). He was young and extremely helpful. My room was small but enough for a good rest. The AC worked perfectly and the shower was fantastic. I loved the lemon soap. I actually put the leftover and brought home with me. The Tv was great and I watched movies in English non stop. So, Be careful when you write bad reviews, this is an airport hotel, not a place to spend a holiday in Rio. I am glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews!

This is a very basic hotel for travellers who need to stay near the airport- from that point of view it is most convenient. But that is all the hotel has going for it. The Sodexo run restaurant is terrible, service atrocious. Reception staff uncaring and slow- hopeless. Find somewhere else UNLESS you need the convenience for the easy access to the airport.

That is bad customer service! I had an min cancellation booking and my flight was delayed so I missed my connection flight to Rio. The airline gave me new tickets via Sao Paulo so I couldn't stay in this hotel but they didn't met me cancel it for free. Never again.

Cold food that I waited over an hour for. Damp room with no aircon. Breakfast was ok but limited hot choices. Shuttle bus ran whenever it wanted to in the end I used a taxi. Booked for 3 nights but only stayed 2. Dining area is very basic and overall ok to sleep one night only. Look elsewhere.
