The location at the airport was the most important factor.

Hi there, this is my second complaint. I am sure that you guys have read my 1st complaint about the trip back with Copa airlines. Yet I have another complaint about this hotel. As soon as I arrived I was checked in by an employee named Tatiana. She was rude and unprofessional since second one. I had arranged the reservation because the flight was supposed to be leaving at 1:30 am and I did no wanted to miss it. Tatiana, immediately. told me that my daughter, who can't speak the language would not be able to stay due to the reservation being on my name only. I stayed in many hotels, in the US as well Rio and other places and never once I had something like this happened, where my daughter was not able to stay in my room with 2 twin beds. Tatiana then proceeded it to ask me for money, she said that If i gave her 50 dollars she would allow my daughter to stay. I became furious and I told her that I never heard such thing and she said that was hotel policy yet unable to show me anything. At that point, my niece who had driven me to the hotel was in the lobby and I told her that I would put the bags in the room and would return to her house with my daughter. myself and my daughter were walking towards the elevators, with our 5 suitcases and Tatiana screamed to the security guard to stop my daughter to go up. My daughter started to cry and I explained to the security personnel that we would only place the bags upstairs. The security personnel was visibly uncomfortable with the

the reservation was not on their system. they made me open my email, wait 30 minutes, and then gave me a room. I was bothered because all I wanted was a room to sleep in for 3 hours before my flight and they took some of that time.

Good for one night when you are tired and just need to spend a night somewhere after your flight or when you want to avoid morning traffic before your flight. Other then that you need to think about something different. Not recommended for a longer stay.

Bedroom could have more pillows. Nice hotel, good location and excellent shuttle service

Its a great place to rest, because its close to rhw airport

This is an airport hotel, and as such it is great. Close to Galeao Airport (not walking distance) but offers free shuttle to the airport 24 hours a day every 20 minutes, with no prior reservarion and runs on the dot. The hotel is very basic but in nice condition, ammenities within the room are extremely basic, huge and comfy bed. The place has a gym and pool but the latter is only open until 6pm. Would I recommend it? Yes only for 1 night stays and if you need the airport close by.

Linx is close and convenient to an airport in Rio de Janerio (GIG) and there seem to be a fair amount of amenities. Check-in was a bit awkward and confusing. The gentleman at the front desk was professional, but not overly friendly. He handed me my key and walked away before telling me how to get to the room. A security official saw me looking confused and led me to the elevator. The bed is comfortable and the room seems to be clean (with the exception of the shower curtain which needs to be replaced), but only 1 of the lights in the living area works so it's pretty dim in here. Also, the air conditioner seems to only blow extremely hard or not at all. Bit of a strange place.

Needed to stay overnight in between flights and this hotel performed the basics just fine. Basic room, basic dining, considerate staff, quiet room. You're not going to spend a vacation here. You just need it to be useful. It was.

It has a good location to take airplane after the tour of Rio de Janeiro. I put my luggages at the front desk of hotel on arrival before going to downtown. I returned from the tour late in the evening and took a nice rest near the airport because it only took a 10 minutes to go to airport from the hotel by hotel shuttle!

I needed a hotel close to GIG for one night. This was an excellent choice. Very close to the airport, friendly staff and comfortable room. The included breakfast buffet was nice with a good selection of food.

the only plus one could see staying in this Hotel is the vicinity to the Airport. but watch out, they stop their Transfer Services at midnight till 5 am. I was not really amused with a 04.40am flight to Lima. We had to book a taxi for our return to the terminal. the Hotel is run down, smelly and doesn't reflect any value for the 190,00 USD/night

Having to return a rental car & fly out of Rio de Janiero the next day, we decided to stay next to the airport. The hotel was very easy to find when driving back to the airport from out of the area, which was a relief because Rio can be a difficult city to drive directly to where you want to go in a timely fashion. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful from the first moment. The parking was free, the WIFI was the fastest we had experienced in many weeks, the bed was big & comfortable, and the hotel was very clean. The building is new with a very modern feel. It looks as though they are still finishing up the odds & ends of new construction. We had dinner in the hotel since it is NOT close to anything else. The food was a buffet that was acceptable but not special. The breakfast was just fine with fruits, juices, breads, & cheeses as is normal for South America. They have a very nice outdoor pool & a small workout gym. Overall, it is a great place to land when arriving on a late flight or leaving out of Rio.

Good prompt service , the shuttle bus service to and from airport is an excellent idea. Breakfast time is ideal for early flight catchers. Good spread of food provided, fruits in season is a thoughtful touch.

The hotel was super clean, to the point of being sanitary (like a hospital). I loved my bed. It is a good option if you need to get to an early flight in the morning. For Rio downtown it is a normal price, but it did seem expensive considering where it was (by the airport). The restaurant in the hotel is the ONLY option for food, and it was reasonable ($20) for a buffet. The breakfast was pretty good and free.
