The hotel is in a bad part of town. Although the room appeared clean, the decor and feel of the room was straight out of the early eighties. The walls are paper thin. We experienced multiple rooms with fighting tenants and some with "loving" tenants. My son and I were immediately approached by someone, whom appeared to be on drugs, asking for a cigarette, and were asked for money the next morning. If it werent for the 9 hours of driving we had just accomplished, I am not sure either of us would have slept.

Check-in was quick. Not the friendliest staff at the front desk but they did their job. Our room was relatively clean. The bathroom definitely could have used some more attention. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but still smelled like smoke. Our room neighbors were having a fight around 4am Check out was quick and easy

I had tried to call several days ahead of time to confirm my reservation, to no response. The room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes, the sink was leaking and there was a large puddle of water underneath it. Not a single surface had been wiped down or cleaned from the previous guest, the shower was dirty and tiles were falling off. My wife and I walked into the room and immediately walked out to find another hotel to stay in. A refund would be kindly appreciated.

The only reason I’m not giving this a zero is I had a fridge and a microwave in my room. Also it was just and overnight stay. Also it’s false advertising on the sign saying rooms were newly renovated. Room looked worse than a hotel room in the 70’s and the whole hotel including registration reeked of smoke!! I wouldn’t recommend staying there unless it was an emergency situation like your car broke down and you needed a place to sleep.
