Nestled near the serene waterfront along the Catawba River at the mouth of Lake Hickory, NC, this charming cottage offers an abundance of natural light with riverside windows and extensive deck space for outdoor gatherings. It features under-cottage parking, a private dock for swimming and boating, and a boat launch for exploring the waters. The area is peaceful with a quiet road ideal for children, and a great local restaurant is just a short walk away, perfect for family-friendly stays

This inviting rental cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests with its three bedrooms, each featuring a queen-sized bed. The main level, accessible via stairs, houses one bedroom and a bathroom, with the additional two bedrooms and another bathroom located on the upper level. Both levels are well-equipped for convenience and comfort, featuring walk-in showers in the bathrooms, a central vacuum system, and laundry facilities including a washer and dryer. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with all necessary cooking equipment, a farmer sink, and a dishwasher. For outdoor enjoyment, the property offers street side and water side decks on the main level, an upper deck off the master bedroom, a BBQ grill, and ample outdoor seating. After sunset, canned lights provide plenty of illumination, and a gas log fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings.

Relaxing River stay
We were there on Business and made this trip into a Business/vacation. Relaxing by the river doing some fishing. We did not want to leave. Prefect for all occasions.
