We slept there in 4 for two nights and we found it a good place to be chosen in order to visit Reykjavik. It is in a quiet place 10 min on foot far from the city center. Our apartment had a small kitchen and a small bathroom, sufficiently clean. There is the elevator (the apartments are at the 4th floor) and free parking.

We stayed in this apartment for a week. We had done our research in advance, so we knew that for four women hotels were expensive and limited. It was small but we managed and really were not in the apartment much during the day. The shower was small, but we made it work. The owners are prepared and offer luggage storage if you arrive before check-in, there is a supply closet, and a nice communal sitting area for a change of scenery. We were in Reykjavik when there was a "heat" wave", in the 60's, which was nice outside but made the apartment stuffy - a fan would have been a nice touch. All in all, we were pleased!

We stayed here for three nights in May. Stay Apartments are located convenient to downtown but also are in a great location to easily get out of Reykjavik. Our unit was roomy and clean. Our view of the bay and mountains was magnificent. There is a gas station/convenience store just a few steps away. Parking was plentiful and safe. Loved our stay at Stay Apartments and would come here again!

Stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights and loved it. Might be a bit of a surprise to British travellers but did not see a staff member in all that time and I loved it. What happens here is you are given a code to get in the door from the parking at the front, then up in the lift to floor 4 where keys and instructions await. The rooms are clean and bright with cooker sink etc. Loo shower and very small bathroom sink. I had room 9 with great views over the city. The rooms are not serviced at all which I liked. I am capable of straightening a duvet in a morning and the beds are very comfortable. Satellite Tv including BBC channels was in each room. Iceland is not cheap to visit, dinner for 1 is about £50 and hotels can be expensive. The Hilton where I was attending a conference was North of £300 a night and this was across the street at a third of the price which made it good value for money and handy location to get to the main roads to go and explore Iceland

Brilliant for the cost! It's ALL you need! bog standard essentials, all self catering. it's perfect location - 5-10 mins walk into the town reykavik. Taxi is expensive otherwise and it's pure lazyness so just walk if you can. it's so weird in here, enter the apartment and have to get the lift to 3rd floor or take the stairs. you find the envelopes on the shelf with your name on it, thats the keys inside. so funny! standard room, OK not like the photo I saw when booking (alot smaller) but doesn't matter as it did us ok. Just the job, all you need for 2 nights stay. Couldn't ask for better view, out the front! so we can see our hire car. plenty of spaces! perfect. Just suggest having a snow shovel outside I said on the feedback card as we got snowed in with the car and we had to use other things to plough the car out. thanks. Thank you so much for having this apartment owner, keep it open and keep the price low as it's perfect. we will come back here if we ever come to Iceland again.

The apartments are located on the 4th floor in a road not far away from the center (not sure if you can walk from there to downtown, as we drove overnight for a short stay). The apartment we slept in (n 12) was very nice and comfortable, well kept and enough big for 4 people. It included a small kitchen and a bathroom

My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Iceland. Although the staff are nearly invisible, we were thankful on our first day that they actually allowed us to check-in several hours early as we had arrived at around 7am and check-in wasn't scheduled until 3pm, but as soon as the room was ready by 9am they told us that the keys were ready. The apartment was well equipped with a kitchenette including utensils and cookware (also a coffee pot, toaster, microwave) a bathroom with a hair dryer, a room with two twin beds, a table and chairs, and a TV. Towels are provided, as well as dish soap. We had everything we needed here. It's only less than a 10 minute walk down the Main Street to a Grocery store (Kronan) where we bought all our groceries while touring Iceland. Having the convenience of the kitchenette saved us a significant amount of money here in Iceland where eating out is very expensive. Boholt Stay Apartments is just what we needed for our stay and we would definitely stay here again. It's 4th story location means it is safe from outside intruders. It's design as an apartment (and not hotel room) means you don't have to worry about the safety of your valuables as there is no room service coming through daily. The phone in the lobby is free and available for local calling to confirm reservations on tours, etc. It's proximity to the city center made it easy to walk to nearly all of the interesting parts of the city while living in the comfort of an apartment. I recommend Boholt Stay Apartments. One caviat: if you are looking for a receptionist and room service, this location is not for you. The staff is mostly invisible and you pretty much have to read to figure out what to do and where to go. This lack of personal interaction may be unnerving or impersonal to some, but it worked fine for us.

I booked a room for 2 people. The beds were twin beds placed next to each other. The room was decent size (~300Sq feet). There was a small kitchen with heated plates (no gas) and a small bathroom. The shower had no cover, it was a standup with the curtain wrapped around it. There was very hot water available and great pressure on the shower. The place was clean. I was in room 11 and the room didn't have a great view. There was hardly (if ever) staff around to help with questions. I came in around 7am and tried to get in early, there was no luck with that (ended up storing my stuff and walking around and checking in at 3pm). The couches in the front were great though.

Stayed here for 3 nights during our trip to Iceland. There were four of us so two single beds and a sofa bed in the room. The bathroom was horrendous. Every time you took a shower the water would just immediately overflow and flood the floor. The shelves were broken and so was the toilet seat lid. It was a self serve apartment so you help yourselves to towels and toilet paper in the supply cupboard but the cupboard was locked the entire stay so we weren't able to get the supplies we needed ourselves. The water tasted disgusting, we weren't sure if it was just our apartment but it was NOT suitable to drink. The plates in the cupboard had still got dried food stuck to them from the previous stay. There were not any instructions on how to pull out the sofa bed, which I think is always important to have. The channels on the TV were in English and showed English programmes which was a good thing. Wouldn't recommend staying here, even for the price.

The apartment was very cramped--to small for four adults. Photos made the place look bigger. The location was good and they had availability on New Year's Eve which is rare. Price wasn't bad. I would have appreciated more room.
