We loved our stay. We had almost everything we needed! The location is great and we seen the northern lights 3 out of our 6 nights. The owners let us check in a bit early and were so kind! The only downside was there is no washer. We packed extremely light because the listings said there was one. It was a bit inconvenient, but we managed. The owner was very apologetic ans even offered to do our laundry. Regardless, we loved staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. lovely house in lava field in view of the sea. Very quite and peaceful. The house was very well appointed with everything we needed and was very comfortable throughout. About thirty minutes from Reykavik which made it easily accessible for dining out and visiting attractions.

We had a wonderful, very comfortable stay. The house is spacious, warm and had everything we needed, and lovely comfy beds. The location is excellent, in between the airport and Reykjavik in a tiny seafront hamlet. There is a bit of light at night from nearby houses but we still could see the Northern Lights. Communication was excellent with clear directions and instructions for check in. We would definitely stay here again.

This location is fantastic!! The owner was very responsive and nice. The house iteslf if very nicely equipped and very comfortable. It is also perfectly situated where it was nice and dark that we had front row seats to the northern lights! We had a wonderful time and cannot say enough good things about this location! We hope to come back soon! :)

Wonderful stay!

This house is so cozy and comfortable and perfectly located for a more quiet stay. We were so lucky to be able to see the Northern Lights right from the front yard. Stunning! Definitely recommend this house and hope to be able to come back again.

Beautiful and spacious home. One bedroom with full/queen, one bedroom with two twins and an upstairs loft with 5 twin beds. Best part is the northern lights were directly above the property during my stay.

Brinhyldur was an amazing host, we arrived a bit early and she kindly let us in with no problem. The home is perfectly situated to everything. We wanted a location that was out of the city but still close. Blue lagoon, Kef Airport about 10/15 minutes & Reykjavik about 25 minutes all on safe roads. The house is huge, washer, dryer great mud room for shoe, coat and luggage storage. Beds were so comfy when we got home from our daily adventures we had no issues sleeping. The house is secluded but there are homes in the area but you hear nothing but Iceland breezes. Views are amazing and one morning we woke up and the sheep were all over it was fantastic! Icelandic horses on our morning walks lots of birds and we even got to see the Northern Lights from there and they were magical!!! Over all great location and comfortable home. I would highly recommend for couples, families or 4 single ladies like ourselves! Some updates needed on the pots and pan situation and be careful of the microwave door it got us a time or two but other than that a wonderful place to call home for your visit!
