There was no pool, and said there was. No lake or water like the picture showed. Pictures of the motel were very deceiving. The beds were comfortable & kitchen nice . Room was very small.

The hosts Richard and his wife Monika are very friendly and considerate . We have some large luggage that has be left behind until we come back from our trip . They are willing to hold it for free . We are so grateful .
Quiet and close to Reykjavík, Blue Lagoon, and Grindavik without being in the middle of everything! Awesome hosts.
Monika spent time with us to talk about the weather and our routes. She came to our door to make sure all was well and offered help as needed. They were working on backyard improvements but had so weather issues. It will be extra special with that complete. Free access to the local pool was terrific. Hot pools and warm pool. Great jet tub. We have private hot tubes but not swimming pool ( our guest can use public one free of charge)Small lake is 800 meters from Motel but you need to take a walk to know that. The road around the village takes 30 minutes and runs along the ocean with a nice view
