Great place to stay in Redway!
Our friends and I stayed here for one night and it was great! The apartment had everything we needed, is quiet, is close to the grocery store, the Mateel Community Center, and river access to the Eel River (tip: enter at the end of Beach Road). The unit is nicely updated, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the wall A/C units (one in the bedroom and one in the living room, which you control with a remote control), as it gets hot in Redway in the summer (especially for those of us who live on the coast). The owner was quick to respond to communications, especially once we had arrived and had a couple of questions. The apartment is located right above the local dispensary, which was convenient for a couple of us in the group. It’s 420 friendly, so you might smell weed, but that wasn’t an issue for us. I highly recommend, and would not hesitate to stay here again!
Came for The Avenue of Giants Marathon. Great hikes within a 5 minute drive radius. Loved the private gated parking, nice grocery store in walking distance. Stayed 4 nights, comfy couch, soft sheets, plenty of towels, would stay again.
