This hotel needs much more renovating than they are doing. The rooms stink like smoke and is even worse if you want to use the heater. The furniture is all old. They must have just changed the carpet and bed spread and thought that was good enough. The light fixture in the bathroom is obviously from the 70s because it makes a loud bussing sound when it is on. They just slapped a modernish cover over it. I would not recommend this place. Just keep driving and find something better. There are several on the same road. I can say the Chinese restaurant across the street was good though lol

Sheets and pillow cases in our room had lots of hair on them. Convinced they were not changed. When this was brought up to the front desk, a simple word of apology. Asked to leave a message to supervisor but nobody followed up.

This was the second time we stayed there and we'll return in the future

We had a great time at this Best Western! It was very nice and clean and you get a lot for what you pay for!

Staff had an attitude problem, we weren't very happy with our interaction with them. We ended up with a handicap/pet room, which we didn't find out about until we showed up. The room was cleanish, but overall pretty grungy. We won't be staying there again, nor will we be using the booking service we used. Happy travels!

We were given a room at back of the hotel, 100 yards from major freeway. In order to move we had to pay extra. Manager said online reservations only get the freeway rooms. So no real benefit from Online booking. Too bad because hotel was comfortable with good restaurant and morning breakfast. Just a lousy feeling from online booking.

We arrived with two babies and were wished "Godspeed" in finding a parking spot. Suffice it to say the stay quickly went downhill from there. Toilet hadn't been flushed, cable didn't work, etc. horrible experience.

Nothing overly exciting about this hotel.Stay was average and i was not wowed by the staff or the amenities. Good hot breakfast offered. Would stay again if reduced cost offered.

Redding was just a stop-over on a road trip down to Southern CA. It suited our needs just fine. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was good, and the breakfast was better than the usual complimentary fare. However, due to our room placement across from the ice machine, and some guests who didn't think to lower their voices when returning back to their rooms past midnight, I didn't sleep well. We would stay there again. Hopefully, we'd get a better room placement.

Nice place but there are better options in redding for less money. This is an old type motel turned into a hotel so your door will be outside like a motel 6 and the Rooms are tiny with old smell! Service was good and the restaurant nice but the buffet was just barely over a continental or make your own waffle bar. Even the staff wished they had more options. If the price were under 100.00 per night it would be about right value!

We stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend, visiting Bethel Church and School. The location was central to the town, church and just a 45min drive to the beautiful breath-taking lake shasta! The staff on the breakfast shift at the cafe was exceptionally capable and friendly. They brought such cheer to every person that entered each morning. The rooms were also well kept with comfortable beds, everything worked well, we had a great stay.

reserved at last moment.staff was awesome, breakfast included buffet to next door restaurant was ok, beds wonderful!

Spent one night here on a business trip - the staff were helpful as for some reason my Orbitz reservation hadn't entered their system, although I left my credit card information with them to cover the room, when I researched my account to see that Orbitz had charged my card, the hotel reversed it and connected with Orbitz to figure out the problem. Room was comfortable - had a work desk, couch/table and all the other amenities. More upscale than I had imagined. Only problem was the shower had temperature control issues, would get piping hot randomly (probably based on my neighbors water useage) but it was a bit alarming. Will definitely stay here next time and highly recommend.

The size of the room we had was not what I expected for the price I paid. The beds are very small. I asked for a room on the first floor when I arrived and was brushed off as none were available. The front desk staff was not friendly. Upon check in I was told I would be charged $50 for incidentals, no problem knowing I prepaid for the room on [...]no big deal, but now discover the $50 hold plus what the hotel now states is another hold for almost $200 more than the original price of the room and the staff is no worries on the phone, it's just a hold well it's not your money.Don't stay here for deceptive practices like this...
