Stayed here 4 nights as part of a wedding group. Wife and I had a one bedroom suite, which (happily) was handicapped equipped. We found the kitchen and sitting area very convenient if guests happened to drop by. The breakfast also proved a big hit for morning get-togethers. The table cleaners at breakfast were particularly helpful. The 10th floor bar also proved a hit. Room amenities and service proved excellent as expected. Parking was good once you figured out which floors to use. Had one unexpected addition when there was a major concert at Red Hat Ampitheater across the street- we listened from the hotel- fortunately not from our room! Hotel highly recommended.

Stayed here with my wife for one night last Saturday. Hotel is situated just at the bottom of the Main Street and a short walk to the Capital buildings. The suite was very spacious with everything you would need. Overall a good choice but three issues that the management might like to look at Arriving and checking in by car is really a learn as you go experience, you need to park up at the front car which will be a problem if there are 3/4 cars ahead of you. You then need to lock up, enter the hotel, check in and be given a car park label allowing you to return to your vehicle and enter the public / hotel parking next door.i do not think I was told that the designated hotel spaces are in the fourth level. After parking up you can enter enter the hotel by a direct door from the park. A word of caution on the car park, a fellow guest told us that his GPS was stolen from his car during the night, he admitted that he must have left the car unlocked. Nothing of course to do with the hotel but a warning that there were folk in the car park overnight looking for opportunities to steal from vehicles There are no safes in the rooms which for a modern hotel is very unusual. I therefore had to use the reception safe deposit facility but when putting in and taking out I never felt that the reception staff really understood their own process. They seemed unsure as to what they needed to do Finally we stayed on a Saturday night and returned after dinner to find that in our room on the fourth floor the music from a function room below was quite unbearable. The bass thumping made it difficult to hear the TV and our windows were shaking. I rang the reception to ask when the music would be stopping and was told 10:30pm which in fairness it did On check out I mentioned this and was met by a shrug of the shoulders, I was told that when they have a similar function they get loads of customers complaints and they have ear plugs at reception which I had not been previously told about. This will continue to be a issue so worth checking in advance if staying on a Friday/ Saturday evening

Was in town for a concert and I wanted something close to the Amphitheater. I lucked out when I chose the Residence Inn. The room was very spacious and very clean. Perfect vanity set up for prepping for a concert. I made a visit to the 10th floor bar. Service at the bar was exceptional and the food/drink prices were reasonable. Since I only stayed 1 night I didn't get to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer but would definitely come back again. The service was amazing!

Our room very spacious, comfortable, and clean. My wife said she wanted to stay for a week because the room was so nice. This Residence Inn is very close to everything on the mall, but far enough away so you do not hear mall concerts at night. Easy access off I-40. The roof top bar (10th floor) has great views with inside and outside seating. The smoked artichoke dip was outstanding.

The property is conveniently located within walking distance of all the local spots. Our room was as near and modern as expected. The rooms are the perfect size and accommodations. The most impressive part of the property are the staff. They are by far the most friendly staff I’ve encountered at a hotel. Traveling for work this says a lot as I stay in hotels quite often. The desk staff never failed to greet me and have a bit of small talk. The cleaners always seemed chipper and upbeat in the halls. One staff member did stand out from others. Manuel, he is an asset to this company and made our experience awesome. He is certainly a ‘people person’ and offers so much to this property. We would both like to personally say thank you to him for making us both feel welcomed. Next time I’m coming through Richmond this will certainly be my go to hotel! Great work to everyone and we appreciate the hospitality.

We stayed here based on its proximity to the Natural History Museum and it is great. The rooms are spacious and if you have a Netflix account you can login in and watch in your room. The restaurant was very good and the free breakfast is also good. They have a bar on the roof which gives a great view at night. You are also walking distance to the Capital and a kids museum.

We loved staying here. The breakfast was great and the staff was even better. Everything was super clean as well. The parking garage was easy to deal with and we brought our bikes to use, so we went to the garage quite a bit.

What a great hotel! Located on edge of downtown next to Convention Center and within walking distance of many restaurants..Check-in and Check-out was so easy...Saida at front desk was wonderful! Rooms are spacious, twice the size of most hotel rooms. Breakfast is so far beyond what other hotels offer as complimentary ans so many employees to service the guests! Wonderful roof top bar!

The Residence Inn Downtown Raleigh is an outanding hotel! We are a group of families of WWII veterans, and recently had our annual reunion at this hotel. Everyone loved the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautifully decorated with great amenities. We loved the rooftop bar! The location of the hotel was perfect, with so many eateries in this vibrant downtown area within a short walk. Most importantly, we want to mention that our Event Coordinator, Lauren, was beyond amazing to work with from beginning planning to execution. I was so impressed with the attention and care she gave to our group. We are so appreciative! We had two evening events at the hotel in the Innovation meeting space. The food was the best we have ever had at hotel events and every detail was taken care of. The management of this hotel should be extremely proud of their outstanding staff members. Dan did an excellent job of managing our events both nights. The 39th Bomb Group will never forget the graciousness of the staff and the wonderful experience. Thank you!

This a a great hotel to stay at, especially if you are attending an event at the convention center. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and their is food onsite. It’s a short walk to the convention center next door.
