We enjoyed our stay. We were there for a drifting event at Talledega Grand Prix Raceway. There was plenty of parking for our truck, enclosed trailer & another vechile. It was less than an hour to the track. Being on the water was perfect for starting and ending our days there. The host was great ansewering questions and providing information timely. I will mention it is an upstairs apartment above a detached garage. But other than the stairs you would never know you were above a garage. Will book this again when in the area.

The places was clean and spacious, plenty of room for my family of five. There were a few things that didn’t work like the tv remotes and coffee maker. The location was beautiful! Other than the small imperfections the property and area was beautiful.

Beautiful location and very quiet but needs maintenance

The carriage house is in a beautiful location and very quiet. The property manager, Lexi, was very easy to reach and helpful in getting problems resolved. However, we had issues with the Roku remotes (master was missing), the internet quit working 2 or 3 times over 2 days (Lexi did get it back up for us as soon as you could), we went to use the washer and dryer and found a wet comforter in the washer and damp towels in the dryer. I took those out to do one load of wash, set the washer on cold, and it used the hottest water I've ever seen instead (the clothes were steaming when I removed them). Put them in the dryer and it ran for 30 minutes and shut off, the clothes were cold and wet. I tried other settings and the dryer would not heat up at all. We had to hang the clothes around the bedroom to dry. There were other maintenance issues (shelves broken in fridge, light above stove doesn't work, toilet makes a loud squealing noise in master throughout the night). Just some general maintenance would be great for your guests!

Beautiful Vacation House

The house was very clean and is well maintained. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Pretty views of the river and is in a quiet location. My only complaint is that there was only a half a roll of paper towels and only one extra trash bag and we were there for 4 days, not a big deal though. Overall, great place to stay!

Baseball Trip

Great price. Wish we had better lake access or that the listing would’ve clearly stated we only had a small boat launch area access to the lake.

Family Wedding

The property manager, Lexi, was simply fantastic. Before we arrived, Steve was great giving us good information about the area. Once we got there, there was extreme storm and tornado warnings that Lexi walked us through. We are from Idaho and have absolutely no experience preparing for or even monitoring extreme weather events like this. Lexi brought us water and additional snacks and some lanterns in case the power went out. She also told us when and where to go for a storm shelter if necessary. The house was fantastic, a really nice and safe place to be. We did not have to leave during the storm and we had a great stay. We were there for a family wedding and had hoped to get around the area to see some sights. We did have time to find some good southern food in the area. We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Stay With A View

We found the listing description was accurate. We did not use the washer and dryer, but the property had a nice laundry room. The house is convenient to a Publix grocery store. Parking garage for 1 vehicle. Two smaller decks that you may enjoy with nice views Storage was amazing if one needed to store suitcases etc during your stay. Seating arrangement was very inviting for conversation. We would recommend the property,

Amazing Lake House Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lakefront Carriage House. The house was very clean. Check in was smooth and simple. The property manager was amazing: she responded promptly and was very friendly. This location is beautiful and in a peaceful neighborhood.
