The breakfast was very little but the beds were comfortable. Easy to find and the staff were quick to assist with all out needs. I would go back again. Plus its relatively close to everything. loved the shower

The good. Fresh pain on side walls. The BAD right next to a very active road, due to little to no insulation you will hear conversations and traffic all night. Front door was separated so when I opened it only part come open. Center floor was clean but an 1 1/2 inches around the entire room ha 1/8 thick dust and dirt. The bathroom looked like a lady with long hair emptied her brush in the floor. The mini fridge sounded like a lawnmower and had to be unplugged so we could sleep. The window AC unit rattled so loud we cooled the room off the turned it off due to noise. This place is lacking serious maintenance issues to include dark spots on the ceiling, evidence of the roof leaking. This place fails as a Super 8. 1/4 star rating.

The price is right. The rooms are nice and big, the beds are clean and comfortable. Pillows are plentiful and clean. We had no issues or complaints. The water pressure is phenomenal so, you'll get a great shower!

It was late, I was driving, I booked this room for the night because it was close and I was tired. I was driving back to PA. So when I got to the motel I looked at the reservation that was booked thru Trip Advisor then thru the dates read 29 - 30 and it was March 21st. VIP was very gracious and called on my behalf cause refused to help me. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was newly remodeled. Thank you VIP for your kindness

I spent 2 nights there because I didn't have a place to stay. I was looking for cheapest room possible that's why I went with this place. But it's not bad at all. There's ice machine and vending machines and coin operated laundry. The rooms have multiple dressers and table too. Also a decent free breakfast too. The people at the front desk are very nice and helpful as well.

Greta Hunter was so kind and helpful(and pretty), that I decided to come back. Rooms are clean. Rooms are big. Great water pressure. The staff is always so friendly. If ever this way again, I will be back. Ms. Hunter made me feel at home. As a matter of fact, she contacted me after my last visit and offered to send some clothes I left behind to my house. I was so impressed that I told her to hold onto my clothes until I return the following week.

On February 22nd & 23rd of 2019 my wife and I decided to have a get-a-way for the weekend and since the weather outlook was less than desirable for any outside activity, we made the decision to stay at the local Super 8 Motel in Gadsden, AL. The staff at this facility could not have been more accommodating to our needs.Typically my wife will not stay or visit a facility unless it is a big named hotel, with the usual accompanying price tag vice an inexpensive wife is choosy when it comes to lodging! We stayed in the motel the entire weekend and made the following observations. The facility itself is well dated yet maintained, most of the staff (cleaning) at this Super 8 struggled with a language barrier yet they did their best to satisfy our requests. Considering the age of the property, language barrier of the staff and limited events in the Gadsden area our stay was still nice. If you have need or are thinking about staying in this area, the Super 8 Motel in Gadsden is a good place to lay your head. Note: Ask for Greta Hunter, she will ensure you are offered the best price for the stay. Again, please note the furnishings and facility are dated so don't expect the Ritz-Carlton; however for the price it was worth the stay. Thank You!

I fell in the bath tub. When talking to the manager about the incident he said it was my fault and did not want to fill out any report. When I asked for directions to the hospital he sent me in the wrong direction. and gave me bad directions to the hospital. luckly I did not break anything.

Nothing fancy, but adequate for a stop over while traveling. Easy access and lots of restaurants very close by. Staff very friendly and accomdating. We will probably stop there again. We researched for the best value and that fit the bill.

Granted the rate is a very reasonable $60 a night but the rooms are filthy. Their were cigarettes burns on the sheets (in a nonsmoking room) and stains on the mattress. There was also a blood stain on the shower curtain and the towels are old. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
