The beds were great! Hotel staff were very helpful in arranging cabs etc. Food was very good. Overall a great choice in a good part of town. You can easily walk around the neighborhood or to a nice shopping center. You will need a cab to visit the historical areas.
Great location, very centric to shopping restaurants, all personnel with AMAZING PROFESSIONALISM, and EXTREMELY POLITE!!! I cannot say enough from each employee and their kindness and service toward its customers. I felt literally at home
I don't often write reviews but I was on the last day of a vacation and the staff made it end wonderful. They were super attentive and were very flexible with me as I had a night flight. They were easy going and used common sense in taking care of me.
I have never felt as welcomed and appreciated by hotel staff as I did on my visit here. The attention to detail was amazing, from the Front Desk staff to the Housekeeping staff. Smiles seem to be part of the daily uniform requirements. I was very impressed.
Stayed one night in Quito, arriving from a long haul flight. The hotel seems to be well located (this was my 1st time in the city), just a short drive from the old center. The hotel is in very good condition but shows some signs of age. Rooms are big enough and comfortable. Had a good salad upon arrival (late at night) and breakfast was also good.
This Sheraton is a lovely hotel in a very active business section of Quito. We were picked up at the airport by their shuttle, who efficiently drove us to the hotel, some 30 minutes away, for $25 for the two of us. Our room was large and attractive with a king bed. There was no fridge, which is a minus, but it has the largest and best room safe I’ve ever seen in my travels, and that more than makes up for the fridge. There is a restaurant on site, which I reviewed separately (Cook’s), and the breakfast buffet is pretty good. We went to the fitness center, which has a very peaceful atmosphere and is well equipped with machines, a steam room and sauna, and a jacuzzi. Marco, who runs it, is very helpful and friendly. Really nice facility. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Indeed Sheraton hotels have a signature for comfort and quality, the premises are convenient and comfort is the rule. The food is excellent and they have the best tech for First Aid in town. Highly recommended.
We were on the 6th floor. No views but that wasn't an issue. Great security - had to swipe your room key to access the floor in the elevator. Quiet, clean, great shower. Breakfast was included and it was a fabulous buffet.
Fantastic hotel. Rooms are new, good size, clean. Great location. Drivers are always available. What really makes this tops is the service and attention from everyone, from bell boys to front desk to cleaning staff. Made us feel important, always willing to help amd even going above like a breakfast in a bag for the 45 minute trip to airport at 4.30am!
Hotel a centrally located just a few minutes walk from a major shopping mall and the stadium. Staffing is always so hospitable. We had an issue and had to leave a day early the manager was more than happy to accommodate us without any incidental charges. I definitely will return to this hotel again for another stay in Quito. Lobby area haslovely flower arrangments upon entry and a constant supply of light refreshments, coffee, tea, water, fruit punch and banana bread etc. during our stay.
