Excelente todo ..muy recomendado el hotel

Hotel is in a great location. Owner was wonderful. We felt very welcomed! Only thing I had to get used to was the noise of the buses that passed by and rattle the windows, At first, I thought it was an earthquake.

Awesome views. Awesome staff. Great location if you want to meet the historic center.

It was a most beautiful, well-kept building. Some of the original stone and wood was evident. The views were spectacular from the floor to ceiling window. The staff was so warm, welcoming and helpful. And the location was perfect, two minutes from the Plaza Grande.

Awesome location. Family owned. The son's who work the desk could not be more professional, polite or helpful. Their parents should be quite proud of the wonderful representation of they portray. The pictures don't do the common areas justice. Stunning atmosphere. Breakfast is fantastic. Truly a first rate experience and a gem. Looking forward to booking my parents here in February.

Very friendly people who run this hotel. It is in a great location. AMAZING view of the city.

POSITIVES 1. Staff is excellent. Helpful, polite, understand and speak English very well. 2. B&B is clean, comfortable, and modern in a 200 year old building. 3. Breakfast is very good and fresh. 4. Location is safe and within walking distance of the main plaza. 5. The street outside is very narrow, congested, and the fumes from buses and cars can be strong. The noise during rush hours is loud, but it was part of the atmosphere that we expected and were comfortable with. Things became quiet during the non rush hours, evening, and night hours. 6. Everyone on staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was the best. 7. I recommend this place to anyone that goes to Quito and the old central city. NOT AS POSITIVE: 1. There is no elevator. If you can't walk stairs, ask for a lower floor. 2. There was not a fan in the room and it could get stuffy. We didn't ask for a fan, so maybe they have them. OVERALL EXPERIENCE was awesome. I would definitely go back for another stay.

This hotel is modern and comfortable and in close walking distance to some good food, historic Quito and the zocalo. The staff was very pleasant, professional and helpful.

Staff were friendly, the rooms were nice and the hotel was in a good spot. My only comment would be that the wifi connection was not very good. Overall a lovely place to stay — the best hotel I’ve stayed in while in Quito.

This boutique hotel is conveniently located in the historic district near the Basilica. The design is stunning and based on a 150yr old colonial style building. Staff is very accommodating and helpful, rates are reasonable. Can highly recommend!

Casa Gardenia has the advantage of being 15 minutes on foot from the old city center but being old on the outside and new on the inside.
