Nice hotel. Lobby and seating area were really nice, the rooms were ok, but far from the luxury of the lobby. The area is a little dangerous to walk around at night, but if you like the night life and late clubs, this is the area to be. Would not recommend this area for families with young kids.
Definitely a 4star hotel conveniently located in the Mariscol area. Convenient to restaurants and nightlife. Well maintained, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast buffet included. But the best part is the staff...very accommodating and always helpful. Most also speak English. I recommend this hotel.
Very nice, clean, and comfortable rooms. The hotel itself was also very beautiful and safe. The location was ideal, as it was only a few blocks away from Plaza Foch and cheap taxi fare to get to other popular places. The staff was super nice and friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable and our needs were met. The only thing is that sometimes it can be very loud at night, as it is fairly close to Plaza Foch.
Nice hotel in a great location. The only thing that would have been helpful was a brochure describing the amenities and restaurants of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
trip to quito. after the Galapagos island. got a lot of walking in old town. the parks are great anhd used by the locals. great food. in town
This hotel met my expectations in every way. Great location on Amazonas avenue, a short walk to Plaza Foch, the staff is friendly and professional, property looks like and is run like a top notch hotel. Great breakfast worth paying for if you are staying there. Room was huge, and wifi signal strong. Bed on firm side and could improve. Overall I would definitely stay here whenever I visit Quito and I do indeed recommend Reina Isabel.

The new section of the hotel is really good. I would add a some furniture to the new suites (to put your suitcase wide open and have it accesible other than the floor), but other than that, everything was great.
Great Hotel, very well situated for visiting the city core and surroundings. We enjoyed the tourist bus especially to visit the historic part of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
