We love the location, in the historic center. The view, colonial interior design. The negative part was the room was small for 4 people and hot water was shut off by 10pm.

Really cool hotel in historic Quito. Staff are very helpful and rooms are great except the the beds could be a bit softer.

Nice but you can hear everything that is happening next door. Literally!

I stayed at San Agustin for five days. It's in a great location in the historic area. Very friendly and all the staff know some English. Rooms are small and without amenities such as a small refer, but, the lobby, only a few steps away, has water, coffee, soft drinks and beer. Rooms can be a bit noisy, as the building is an old one and rooms are not well insulated. All in all, it's a great old hotel and I'll stay there again on my next trip. They also had a teriffic airport shuttle service in Gustavo of Zen Tours. Gustavo is fluid in English and I used his service to and from the airport without a hitch. I also hired him for a day trip to Quilotoa Lake and we had a ball. If you want a Hilton or Holiday Inn, go for it. If you prefer a nice Ecuadorian experience, the San Agustin is a great choice!!!

After staying in hostels our whole trip it was nice to get a hotel room for our last night! The hotel was clean and modern, breakfast came in large portions, and the staff was amazing. They watched our bags for us until 7pm the next night while we walked around exploring Quito even though checkout was at 11am. They were great at suggesting places to go and gave us maps of nearby church's, how to get back to the hotel, and a map of Quito. They didn't speak English well but had a google translator for us to use. When our flight got cancelled they gave us the same rate again as we paid though orbitz which was incredibly kind. Highly recommend this place to people who want to explore historic Quito conveniently.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. We are glad to learn that the service was up to your expectations. We work hard to continue improving our service, being in the center of the Old Town/historic downtown Quito, regulations make challenging for any upgrades, nonetheless, we take into consideration our guests feedback and we are working on making the necessary improvements. Thank you again, and we look forward to hosting you in the near future.
