Though not centrally located, the hotel is comfortable and has eating options on site. We were at an event in town, and were surprised at the distance, but in the end enjoyed the space and eating options. The Sharks Club has a decent menu and while it could use a bit of a makeover, we had a good time, a decent meal and a great sleep.

We were travelling with a group from the CAA on the Rocky Mountaineer. This was our overnight stay for 1 night. I had read some of the reviews so was a little concerned about the quality of this establishment. Well, as with all things, reviews are of personal opinion. After a long day on the train we were tired when we arrived but all worries I may gave had were negated. The hotel is relatively new. Clean and fresh. Yes the carpeting could do with a clean but it wasn't bad. The room was well appointed - again because of my scepticism I thoroughly checked bed, bath etc. Everything was lovely. Smelled fresh, beds comfy, bathroom sparkling. Slept soo well. Didn't want to eat but Dennys is attached to the hotel- they also have a restaurant " Shark Club & Bar". There's an indoor pool a gym and banquet facilities. Overall - take us reviewers at face value. We all have differing opinions. Would I stay again. You betcha and would love to!!!

They had no water at the hotel from 5pm when we checked in until 10:30pm. We were continuously told water would be restored "shortly" from 7pm onwards. Hotel staff and management were obviously dealing with a lot of things outside of their control during this time, but we weren't even offered bottled water, and were only informed of the inconvenience after my colleague had completed check-in. We chose to stay, and didn't expect compensation for circumstances outside of their control, but I feel like the situation could have been handled better (additional bottles of water, assistance switching to another hotel in the area). Rooms were average, they could use an update for a cleaner feel. I would not choose to stay here again.

We stayed overnight here. It is a bit out of town but close to supermarkets and there are a few restaurants close by. A little bit dated but the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet location. Minor annoyance was that the bath plug wouldn't stay up so as you showered water didn't run away but it's ok.

I liked many points for this Sandman and here are some tips for improvements: carpet and furniture (too dark) internet services discount for attached Dennis Overall I stayed there twice in two years and if I go back there, perhaps staying there again.

Sandman in Quesnel is modern, clean and comfortable. Staff are courteous, pleasant and efficient. We stayed in a king jr suite. Bed was very comfortable and room spotless. Easy access off main highway, in building restaurant which is very good too with nice service. Gas station across street.

Nothing fancy-solid hotel though. Good clean rooms-pillows were great! Great service from hotel staff. All staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access, lots of parking. Will definitely stay here again.

The rates at this facility were a reflection of what you pay for quality. I stayed at the peak of tourist season as well as the peak of the resent wildfires in the immediate area. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The suite I had was very clean and well appointed.....

First I would like to recognize Victoria who went out of her way to not only welcome us very late in the evening but ensure we got a great rate and fantastic service. The rooms are in excellent condition for an 18 year old hotel. I have stayed here several times over the years and always enjoy my visit. It is conveniently located near many common stores and services with a Denny's attached at one end and the Shark club at the other. Thank you again for another great stay!

Great stay during trying times. Arrived before the highway closed for moms 75th birthday. Staff were friendly. Room clean. Shark Club was delish. Denny's breakfast was the most disappointing part of our stay. Everything else was top notch.
