Room was very old and anyone with allergies would not have been able to stay there. The bedding and towels had a very perfumed smell. I had to purchase a pillow and blanket as the smell bothered me.

The floor was sticky. The furniture showed stains. The toilet was visibly dirty and not cleaned (that was just disgusting and made me write this review!). The bed sheets seemed to have been washed, but they had several large permanent stains on them. Get some new sheets

Bathroom door didn’t shut closely and couldn’t be locked . Room 104- window can’t be locked. Bath tub is really slippery, need nonslip mat Bedspread - the dull blue makes them look dirty, and makes the room look so dark and miserable. Otherwise the rooms are clean and comfortable. Manager David is very friendly and pleasant. He called me to say that a jacket was left behind in one of the rooms. Thanks, and we turned back to pick it up. We all enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed the breakfast in your cozy family dining room . Owner is very kind, sorry that our two young boys had played with your TV remote, hope that you can fix the problem. The kitchenette room is nice and roomy. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Price is right, it’s convenient for us to drive to Barkerville for our lion dance performance , and able to make late dinner at 23:00 after our return from the long day event.

The property wa nice enough but not very clean. They had lots of construction workers there who left a lot of their stuff outside there rooms making the place look untidy. The showers were lukewarm. The good thing it was cheap to stay at. Would not stay there again.
