Me and 3 more guests were waiting for another guest to go down to walk over to dinner. As we waited at the door of the hotel a young man clearly under the influence of alcohol or drugs approached us requesting a cigarrete, we denied it and he started to get vocal and violent. I went inside to request HELP from the hotel, but the people in the hotel decided to HIDE... a witer from the hotel went out and ASKED OUR AGGRESSOR IF HE WAS MAKING SOMEONE UNCOMFORTABLE, he obviously said no... so the waiter told me he could not do anything about the situation. The gentleman left, but the people in the hotel did NOTHING to help us. I left a written description and my contact for the manager and he didn't even reply to apologize. I talked to the people at the front desk and they also accepted secutriy was an issue since there is no security guard or any measure to prevent this to happen or any training at all if this type of situation happens. I am sure the manager will reply to this post... but just know that if you stay here and something like this happens... you are on your own. Avoid this hotel, very bad management and very poor prrocedures to address emergencies.
This is one of the best hotels in Queretaro, is not in the best zone of the city but is pretty close to the downtown and you can go and walk in the Alameda that is a pretty park in front of the hotel, the rooms are small but have all the services, the price is pretty cheap, doesn´t include breakfast but the food in restaurant is good, also the employes are very nice with customers.
Great staff, clean and elegant rooms, and great food and service at the dining room. Close to all in the historic area of Queretaro. A stones' throw from the Alameda Park. Great place for visiting Queretaro
Located somewhere between downtown and uptown Queretaro, just across from the park. Nice little hotel, clean enough. It has its restaurant, nice buffet style breakfast for vegans and non-vegans, costs 145.00 Mexican pesos (USD 7.00 - 9.00 depending on the rate - hotel offers cambio services). Dinner was ok (see pics) but it may not be for everyone. My biggest problem was the thermostat is only for warm weather, I stayed in a cold room, I just kept the A/C off...For a warm-climate creature, I survived lol. However, the shower was great because it had hot water.
Very close to the old Queretaro downtown, this is a nice hotel to spend several days if you want to enjoy of Queretaro. There are several traditional restaurants nearby. The restaurant at the hotel is very good with several meals in the menu. The parking lot has small places according to the lines, but you can find a few places for big cars. Internet was “good enough”.
Overall, the hotel was nice. The people were attentive and the hotel seemed good. Finding a used condom on the floor of the from next to the bed and then having the staff cover it up was disappointing. No one knew of the incident the following day and the owner/manager was too busy to see us.
Comfortable beds, pleasant staff, reasonable buffet breakfast at a pretty decent price. That said, I wish the rooms were properly sealed. Cold air seeps in through the cracks of the closed windows at night. Worse yet there was a concert in the field at the back of the hotel, and the noise was unbearable. I hada pleasant stay here nonetheless.
Was here on vacation for and the hotel is located a couple of blocks away from the historic district. Querétaro is a big city and was pleasantly surprised to have things close by. For example parque de la familia is right across the street from the hotel.
For the money you can't beat it. It's clean and the restaurant is priced right and good food at that. This last trip makes my 5th time to stay there in the last 4 months, so that speaks for it's self. There is nice treed park across the street from the Hotel.
I had s very Pleasant experience at hotel Mirabel. The bed was very comfortable(The pillows were a bit hard), the shower was good with hot water, and the room was a nice size. It's right next to a beautiful park, just a short walk from the historic district.
