I checked into the hotel late on Monday evening and experienced a longer than usual wait as the guest before me had used a 3rd party company to book their rooms and that seemed to be an issue with the first desk. One agent to check in all the parties. The front lobby is very small off of which was a very small bar area where several guests were seated enjoying drinks. Once the front desk clerk started my check in it was pretty routine and smooth. My status with Hilton was to include breakfast and she confused me that it was $50 pesos for breakfast but the next morning clarified that it was if I ordered something other than the continental breakfast. I got to the suite I had reserved and found that while the hotel carpets and decor is a little dated, the room was very good sized. Not a lot of lighting in the front room but very spacious. There were not bath towels in the big, beautiful bathroom, and they delivered those late that evening within minutes of my request to the front desk. I ordered room service the last night and had a good steak and fries delivered to the room The breakfast area is cafeteria style with a buffet selection. The waiters were moving about refilling coffee, etc. Friendly staff. Comp Shuttle at 4am only took about 19 minutes to airport The hotel has one elevator and there were not issues of having to wait for it. There were plugs by the bed for the phone and chargers Hotel is close to a hospital ,pharmacy and fast food type chicken restaurant.

Overbooked and didn't have rooms for us. No sense of urgency to find us rooms at another hotel. Took almost an hour to get it all sorted out. The manager was not helpful and we were left wondering what to do and what was happening.

The motor hotel had clean rooms and a nice breakfast buffet. The rooms were satisfactory as you would expect from a Hilton and the service was good. A shuttle bus is available to the airport and downtown. The property is only average and is half way between the historic district and the airport, but neither are close by.

I’m very surprised at the rating of this hotel here on TripAdvisor. I guess for this area it’s considered a better hotel. I’m a Hilton diamond member who travels often, in fact I’m in a Hilton as I write this, and this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. My wife and kids were also amazed at how bad it was. For perspective, we live in Mexico so are now accustomed to fantastic service and great people. Generally speaking, Doubletree is my least favorite brand of Hilton but I stayed here with my family for what was supposed to be two nights but we had to leave after one. The service was terrible in all aspects except for the lady cooking breakfast (she was sweet) and the front desk people would all be fired if up to me. My room was filthy and, as you can see in the pictures, I’m not sure if it was food on the floor or from rodents. Manager could care less about the condition of the hotel or the room. We left early and were told that our points would be reimbursed for the night we did not stay but they never did reimburse our points. If you’re a business traveler and need to crash one night by yourself, this place or any holiday inn would work. If you’re with family and trying to explore this city, you definitely do not want to stay here.

Very good breakfast service But extra costs for breakfast buffet. The same breakfast is in other hotels completely one price or inclusive Location goodQuiet roomsInteroir goodParking goodGood connection to bus terminals

We generally like the Doubletree Hilton chain. We selected this hotel specifically because it offered airport shuttle and we had an early flight. Because we needed to leave the Hotel at 5 a.m. we sent an email to confirm the shuttle would be running and the reply was that it would take us if we made the request in advance. So we requested it in advance by email. On arrival we were told the Hotel shuttle to airport was not going to take us but they would call a taxi at our expense. To add injury to insult we did not receive a wake up call as requested and had we not set our own alarm as back up we would have missed our international flight back to USA. The Hotel is not near city center or the airport. It is in the middle of nowhere.

Its a small and practic hotel very good for business, clean, conford bed, good service, have a very ship and nice buffet, have a small gym and pool very complete. Have a 24 hrs room service, and small businesses center you can print an emergency document. Very good hotel.

My first stay here was pleasant, with a room in a quiet location and Diamond Member upgrade. My second stay was a nightmare. I'd requested a room in a quiet location, as always (which means far away from the main street, with lots of car and truck noise), and they promised me they had blocked for me such a room -- but when I arrived late at night, they only had one room left, near the highway, and I hardly slept a wink. I asked why they had not made sure they had kept a room far from the highway, and all I got in reply was an insulting shrug. The breakfast area is awful -- even though it is supposed to be full service, there was not a single attendant in sight when I arrived, and there wasn't even a clean coffee up available (that is a first). The woman who cooks the eggs is very nice, but a terrible cook.

The room was nice and clean, very vanilla. As a Hilton Honors, there were no benefits or recognition. other than that the stay was good, compared to what other colleagues paid at higher end hotels I paid close to the same rate so I guess I over paid.

DT is guarantee of quality, for business or pleasure is always recomendable, but the hotel should improve the bathroom and amenities in the gym, the location of the hotel is very convenient, we do not have any big trouble during our stay
