I've stayed in several Hilton Garden Inns and the quality is consistent. In this one everything was great except for the carpet in the hallway, it was very dirty, and because that is the first thing you see when you come out of the elevator it makes you question the cleanliness of the rooms, although once I was inside my room everything looked clean. Service was very good.
Hotel is very nice except for the shower heads at bathroom, they need to be cleaned to remove the calcium, water goes all over the place, but NOT over your head. other than that, they personnel was very kind and helpful
Great location and walking distance to restaurants. 10 min drive to Historic Downtown. The hotel is safe and staff is very accommodating to guests needs. The Hotel restaurant is open late and the Breakfast buffet is delicious.
A lot to ponder on.Very different culture and country standards than what is my norm. Caution advised at all times as you may be randomly approached and solicited. If you are foreign to this nation you will easily stand out. A short walk will likely put you out of your comfort zone.
The hotel is rather new and not many taxi drivers will know where it is located, and most Uber drivers have trouble getting there. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast has good selections (although the staff at breakfast is sort of disoriented and forks, or spoons, are missing all the time, butter is in the opposite corner from bread, etc.). The housekeeping staff often didn't have enough real coffee for the rooms (only decaf?). No idea why. Generally, we had a good time at this hotel.
Just finished another successful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Queretaro, Mexico. I strongly urge you to make this your ´home´ while visiting this beautiful part of Mexico. It is centrally located with easy access to many things. Within a block of the hotel is a great French Bakery and nightly street tacos. There are many restaurants and stores within a few blocks. The service is outstanding - the folks at the front desk make you feel like family. Thanks Alex, Diego and Marianna! The breakfast has a variety of choices along with cooked to order eggs - thanks to Luis, Jazmin, Dalia and Yersain! The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable - thanks to Rutila for the great housekeeping! Management went out of there way to greet us daily, and concierge Eddy is a lot of fun to talk to, not to mention helpful with any request. I have traveled extensively, and would put this hotel up against any I have stayed at before. It is not fancy, but the service and attitude make it one of my favorite hotels. Gracias!
I've only been here an hour and already regret staying here. I prebooked my room on the Hilton website, taking the time to search through the rooms to find one with a single king bed rather than two queen ones. Upon arrival the deskperson tells me I'm in a room with two queen beds, is that OK. I'd said I'd prefer a single king bed to which he replied something to the effect you 'll be OK in this room and didn't even search for a room with a king bed. OK, I'll survive in my assigned room, but then why waste my time asking me to prebook my room? I get to my room and try unsuccessfully to get on the internet. It turns out that the password that I was given at the front desk had expired and I needed a new one. Is it that hard to hand out current passwords? So it's late afternoon and I'm a bit hungry from traveling and would like to have something light but decent to eat. I see from the literature in the room that they have a "Pavillion Pantry" in the lobby that carries sandwiches, salads, etc. What a great idea I think as I make my way downstairs. Unfortunately, when I get there I see they basically only have junk food and beverages. Really?! Not looking forward to finding out what other disappointments lay in store for me here!
The hotel, the rooms, the check in / check out, is what you would expect and deserve at Hilton. The restaurant is crap. It's not the food, it's the service. It can't be slower. I mean, it would have been faster had I cooked my own food. One night I ordered room service. Three milk shakes and cheese cake. One hour! Can you believe? One hour to take the stuff to my room. So, if you're not planning to have breakfast/lunch/diner at the hotel, everything else is fantastic and you will enjoy your visit to this hotel.
The hotel is in a fairly good location, the room was fine, the breakfast was fine. The bed was really comfortable. The water in the pool was so cold. But overall - nothing special. But not bad at all.
Comfortable beds, quiet for the most part nice breakfast with good choices of fruit, pretty friendly employees. Very plain and simple, nothing fancy, fairly close to the historic center, and decent price.
