I am a Diamond Hilton Honors member and tried this hotel for a business trip because it is close to one of the older malls in town and Sams Club. Well, the room rate is OK but upon check in I was informed that I could choose between earning points OR a breakfast....wait a minute...what? I know this is Mexico but I didn't even think this was legal within the Hilton chain. To top it off, this location only gives you 750 points for the ENTIRE stay!. Really? I can say that in the 20 years I have been a Hilton Honors member with status I have never been told I had to choose either 750 points or a free breakfast. I have since removed this hotel from our corporate listing. Other things that were a joke was the Diamond welcome gift consisting of an extra water bottle, a plastic shaver, toothbrush and comb....Muchas gracias! The carpet in my room had nasty stains and the shower door was missing a seal so water leaked all over the floor. The gym was missing remotes for the TV and the cable machine was not usable. The key holder states "open doors you never new existed" LOL, I just did and wont be back. Abra Puertas que nunca penso que existieran.....Yo hice y no voy a regresar. Check out the pics. This review will likely result in a meaningless, canned response from the manager but no change as a result. Thanks for reading.
Stayed here from December 28, 2017 through January 2nd, 2018 and was not disappointed. We prefer suite-like rooms and this one was one of the best we have stayed at. The full-restaurant hotel downstairs (which is uncommon for this type of budget-business hotels) was a plus. Very well located and maintenained, I would stay here again without any second thoughts. Perhaps this time I will ask for a room in a lower floor, since water pressure on the 7th (top floor) was kind of low.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Querétaro. The room were ample and very clean. Nice view from the 7th floor. Everybody were nice and attentive. The restaurant has a great breakfast buffet; which includes pastry, cereals, fresh fruit, juice, milk and a variety of fresh to order lunch entrees. Definitely would stay there again. The only thing, that our room 702 didn’t have a hair dryer and my wife had to go to Walmart and buy one. We stayed later there on the 5th floor and there; there was one. Maybe it got lost??
This is my second time staying at this hotel. Nice and clean. Lots of local restaurants within walking distance. There a few good taco restaurant and a wings and bear restaurant in the same plaza. They have good wings and bear!! It a 35min drive from airport depend on traffic.
I've stayed in several Hilton Garden Inns and the quality is consistent. In this one everything was great except for the carpet in the hallway, it was very dirty, and because that is the first thing you see when you come out of the elevator it makes you question the cleanliness of the rooms, although once I was inside my room everything looked clean. Service was very good.
Hotel is very nice except for the shower heads at bathroom, they need to be cleaned to remove the calcium, water goes all over the place, but NOT over your head. other than that, they personnel was very kind and helpful
Great location and walking distance to restaurants. 10 min drive to Historic Downtown. The hotel is safe and staff is very accommodating to guests needs. The Hotel restaurant is open late and the Breakfast buffet is delicious.
A lot to ponder on.Very different culture and country standards than what is my norm. Caution advised at all times as you may be randomly approached and solicited. If you are foreign to this nation you will easily stand out. A short walk will likely put you out of your comfort zone.
The hotel is rather new and not many taxi drivers will know where it is located, and most Uber drivers have trouble getting there. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast has good selections (although the staff at breakfast is sort of disoriented and forks, or spoons, are missing all the time, butter is in the opposite corner from bread, etc.). The housekeeping staff often didn't have enough real coffee for the rooms (only decaf?). No idea why. Generally, we had a good time at this hotel.
