This hotel was good value for the money, but the problem is the surrounding town is not that nice. There are not too many restaurant options nearby and they are overpriced. You would be better to stay somewhere closer to San Antonio Park. If you do want to stay in this town then this hotel is considered the best option in terms of quality for the money.

This hotel was a great value for the money. The rooms are clean and the hotel staff are helpful and friendly. The location is about 2 blocks from the main center road. The hotel is gated which is closed at night for extra security. The breakfast was good and consisted of a lot of fresh fruit. Highly recommended hotel.

Food was o-k but not great. No view from our room. Not the best neighborhood.

The room was a bit tight but we opened the door to the pool which was nice. The price point was great. We hopped on a bus to Manuel Antonio and saved tons of money by staying in quepos as the bus ride was about 300 colones (less than a dollar). It took about 15 minutes and the buses leave every 30 minutes. Carla was the most amazing staff member. She was able to recommend restaurants, call us cabs, give us directions to the bus station, ATM and more. I was very pleased with the service. The complementary breakfast was great too!

The hotel doesn't look like anything special from the outside and it's not a luxury hotel. If You're like me and just need a place to store your things, shower and sleep this is a good hotel for you. The rooms are very clean and air conditioned. They have a phone, safe, tv and small refrigerator. I was able to enjoy a nice hot or cool shower. Pool hours are from 8am to 8pm but I stayed in as late as 10pm 2 nights and staff never bothered me. Basic free breakfast included eggs, coffee, juice, fruit and toast is pretty good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very basic and bare to the bones. The rooms itself are clean and have air conditioning. The beds are decent but not so comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is made to order. The area itself is not so safe and at night there is nothing to do. There are drug dealers at night on the boardwalk across the street and people selling women. There isnt much to do in Quepos at night. If I were to do it again, I would spend the extra money to stay in the Manual Antonio area.

Everything was good. I just could not sleep comfortably on the hard mattress.

This hotel got great reviews so we decided to try it. The hotel was a good price, but nothing special. The room we were in did not look newly remodeled. We did like that breakfast was included and there were lots of restaurants in the area. We did feel safe in the hotel. The hotel served its purpose which was an inexpensive place to stay while passing through area, but wouldn't want to stay there again.

This is the perfect location in Quespos. It was nice to be able to park the car and not worry about it and be able to walk around town. Many of the other places in Costa Rica you will have to drive from area to area. Quepos is a nice little city with very friendly people and great shops and resturants. The rooms were very clean as well as the whole hotel. The pool was nice to come back to in the afternoon to relax and get on the computer. The internet never dropped me there like some other hotels. People were very friendly and accomidating. I would recommend it and stay there again.

we picked this hotel for our family of 4 (2 daughters 9 years old) because it was the best combination of price and reviews, and because we did not know what to expect from this area. The bad things first: We were frankly surprised that the neighbourhood is not appealing, and the hotel exterior looks more like a budget student hostel. There are a few quite inexpensive stores around, and the bus station is around the corner. The area does not "look" very inviting or "touristy". Driving to the hotel, we thought that we may cancel our reservation. Now the good things: Once you pass the facade and enter the hotel, you are in a small oasis that allows you to rest, and forget about the streets around. The rooms are very pleasant combination of white and blue colors. Everything is clean. A small (and cold) pool is nice, with painted walls. The hotel staff is very accomodating and tries to be helpful. They don't have dedicated parking, but you can park on the street and they have a guard looking over your car overnight. We needed a wake up call at 5am, and they called on time. Breakfast is basic, but a good freebie nonetheless. Overall, you can use this hotel as a safe budget base for exploring the Manuel Antonio park. It is about 10 easy min away (driving) from the park and the nice beaches.

This hotel was everything we expected for the great price and more. Our room was exactly as we expected - incredibly clean, with AC, a fan, and a SAFE. This was a big plus for us as we've read about the risks of pettytheft and passport theft in Latin America, but with the safe (where you set your own combination) we had no worries! Also, we heard from other visitors that some of the pricier resort hotels still struggled with ants in the rooms, but not us! The pool was a plus, and the breakfast was free and made to order... we had our eggs and toast just the way we liked it. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything to organizing tours, giving us directions to good places in town, and advising us on the best ways to get around town, get bus tickets, etc. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, with wonderful, happy, humble attitudes. Quepos was a great base from which to explore nearby Manuel Antonio park, the beaches, the rainforest, etc. If you are going to visit, definitely consider the Sirena Hotel! We will definitely be going back :)
