I was concerned after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised. It was reasonably high in price but it was Easter. Initially had an issue with our room only being 2 bedroom instead of 3 as booked but was sorted straight away and the room we were given was amazing for our family with plenty of room and very nicely decorated. Parking was limited but we had no problem getting a park on site each day. Location was ideal being right in the center of Queenstown.

The Lofts is in a fantastic location in Queenstown. They tidy your room well. Apartment is clean. Heater was ok but not very effective even when on "maximum". Mattress on bed gave me a backache but then I have an excellent mattress at home and cannot tolerate less.

Easy to walk from there to all the places you want to go in Queenstown. Clean and nice, with friendly staff. The rooms were fine, but small which is ok cos you want to be outside anyway. The noise was a little distracting from our unit on the road during the weekend but not too bad. The staff were helpful and polite.

We arrived early before check in, waited 40 minutes at the desk as there was a sign saying back in 10, wjen greeted we received poor service at desk. Average rooms considering the price, cant turn the heaters on in the room. Wont be coming back

My family of three stayed in this apartment hotel booked through for two nights on 13th and 14th February. Though the booking said it was a two bedroom apartment (we had no option of studio room since it was full) on checxk-in we were told it was a 3-bed room apartment. There were two bedrooms below and one upstairs which was more of a dorm with a twin bed and two single beds. Booking about a week in advance had very few options. The facilities were indeed excellent. The main negative was that reception is manned only between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Even though the information brochure gives a number to be contacted, no one responds except for an automated voice saying "I will just answer your call" or something like that and after a long wait you are timed out. Our first issue on first night (which was quite cold) was to light the hearth in the living room. There were instructions in the booklet on how to operate the remote and light it. But it never worked and there was no one to contact in view of reason mentioned above. We did not attempt the phone contact since we felt it was not an emergency and the next day we returned late after a full day of tour to Doubtful Sound. The heaters in the two bedrooms were fine (we did not use the upstairs since it was not necessary) The 15th morning we could not operate the modern induction cooking range. We tried switching it on and only got "L" & "C" displays. Again did not attempt phone call thinking it was not emergency and managed with microwave and electric kettle. The 16th morning, tried to connect charger to electric point in bathroom, accidentally pressed a small button on the point and power tripped of in the bathrooms and the other bedroom. The button was "test" and there was another button "reset". Could not restore the power and attempts to find circuit breakers was in vain. Now being an emergency called the number and was met with the automatic voice and there was no response. This was at about 6:30 am. At 8:00 am (we were to check out at about 10:00 am), I called the reception and the man there, very courteous and polite, cam to room immediately. He went to the circuit breaker box and turned it on. I told him what had happened and he was apologetic. I told him that eitrher someone should respond to the phone or location of circuit breakers must be mentioned behind the main door or some prominent place. I also told him that I would check out about half an hour late and he readily agreed. He also easily operated the cooking range and possibly we had to wait before for a brief moment after switching on the wall switch (about which we did not know possibly). On check-out I informed the man at the reception (Mr Samarth who had checked us in - a fine gentleman) and he told me operating instructions were available in room. However, I informed him that instructions for induction cooker was not there. He was apologetic. While the facility is excellent, the non-availability of help between 8:00 pm & 8:00 am is a a real big negative which nullifies the positives.

The floor and baseboards were VERY dirty. We,washed glasses and dishes before using. The bedding was clean. The days we were there, men were doing the cleaning. Believe they were the owners and/or managers. They need to hire capable cleaners. They have a washer and dryer. Washing machine was dirty and the dryer needed to have the filter cleaned. Location was good

7 off us Stayed here for 3 nights. Simply excellent place to stay, close to everything. It's an easy walk to any place in the town including the gondola. Good size kitchen. Balcony is great for breakfast with views. Price is very reasonable considering the locality. It has a large lounge and a washer and drier and a dishwasher and microwave and full oven. So it is value for money for Queenstown. The guys on reception were helpful. We will definitely be back here.

Great location in the centre of town. Shame about the peeling paint, chipped crockery, and the chair with 3 legs. Unclear parking instructions in local carpark building on the otherside of the block. Well over priced for standard of accommidstuon.

Fantastic spacious apartment in the heart of Queenstown. Close to literally everything - the lake, town, restaurants, public transport! Accommodating, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at 12 different hotels in Australia and New Zealand in the last 24 days. This was one of the most expensive and the worst. The in room dryer had no functioning door widow making it unusable and the microwave would not work. I needed the microwave to heat up washcloths to treat an infected eye. Not being able to do laundry was also not a benefit. The tub was nasty and the cleaning folks just left the few cups and glasses that we used on the first day in the sink where I had put them. A small coffee spill was not wiped as well. For $360 NZ per night a total rip off. Location was good there’s that.
