The space
Staying at QCove Cottage by the Sea on Quadra Island is an amazing experience. The house is fully renovated and super cozy with modern amenities like Wifi, a well stocked kitchen, and a heat pump with a cooling system for summer.
The layout is convenient with three bedrooms-two with queen beds and one with twin beds. Two bathrooms, one with a tub and shower and another with a full shower.
The ocean views are simply breathtaking. You can watch grey whales, humpbacks and orcas right from the sitting room or the wrap around deck.
The wildlife is spectacular, with sea lions, otters, eagles and even blue herons and kingfishers. The dock is just a stone’s throw from the house, perfect for fishing or eco tours by boat.
Entering the house, you’ll enjoy the beautiful terraced gardens and rambling concrete steps leading down to the waterfront home.
The main floor has a comfortable living room with ocean views, a TV room as well as laundry services.
Upstairs the spacious master bedroom has an amazing view and a quiet reading area.
This place is perfect for vacations, reunions and retreats, best suited to children 12 and older.
Centrally located on Quadra, it’s walking distance or 5 minutes drive to the quaint shops and cafes. Be sure to plan for the seasonal Farmers Market Saturday mornings.

Quadra adventure
Property was clean, comfortable, looked good and everything worked well. All amenities were at hand. Host was friendly and available. Note there’s 85 stairs down to the home so you must be reasonably mobile. I recommend the place without reservation.
