Excellent service

The gardens and the beach area beautiful.

La comida no es variada y de muy poca calidad, la reserva de los restaurantes es pesima, nos enfermamos seriamente del estomago en dos ocasiones, el servicio algunos muy serviciales pero otros muy mala actitud. Lo mejor del resort la playa sin dudas, despues de visitar otros Catalonias mis expectativas eran mucho mas grandes y no fueron cumplidas en lo mas minimo, definitivamente creo que no volveriamos.

The beach and pool were great. In the other hand the service and food were horrible. no available snacks besides chips during down time. The food choices were poor at the buffet. when we arrived at the hotel they did not have any restaurants reservations available for two days straight. They said they only had for members trying to force us to buy some kind of membership to upgrade.

I travel a lot with and without my family. I’m from America and very open minded. This resort looks great with good ratings and the place is well maintained visually. Unfortunately prepare yourself for a nightmare check in process with no type of order. After Check in (took over an hour) we received our room which had no ac so they had to change it after we already unpacked. The food is very limited and between 4pm and 6:30pm you can only get cold burgers, Fries , and pizza. They only and I repeat only play Spanish music instead of a Variety of music. No one other than the front desk staff spoke English. When I say no one spoke English, I mean no one spoke English. You are pretty much playing a guessing game when asking for something. Overall the people are nice. Food is okay, quality of the drinks are terrible and if you don’t smoke you now do because people are smoking and doing hooka by the pool with kids right next to them.

This resort is clean, modern and the staff is pleasant.The best beach white sand and little to NO waves. One of the best beaches in the country. The resort overall is very peaceful and kid friendly.

Everything was amazing. The food was great. The pool was extremely beautiful.

Everything was great! Everyone were very friendly and helpful all the time, property and rooms were very clean. Big shoutout to Marcos and Ramon at the restaurant by the beach, those 2 guys always went the extra mile to make sure Everything was great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very family friendly and kid oriented resort. Everything is conviently located. This was my 2nd stay and i recommend you pay a bit extra for what they call a COMFORT room much better. I recommend everyone does this. Their standard rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. SO save yourself the aggravation and upgrade to the COMFORT room.

The beach was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful for the exception of the once that work of commission and were costanly trying to get you to become a member of the catalonia resort chain. ANNOYING!!!!! The standard room was outdated but clean. Never seen such a bathroom in need of renovation in all my travels. I recommend if you stay here pay the extra money instead of the standard room.

This place is absolutely amazing. We loved everything about it. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Great entertainment throughout the day, everyday. The rooms were great and comfortable although a little outdated. However they did seem to be upgrading. We will definitely stay there again when we visit DR in the future.

This seemed like a nice resort, but my wife and I were not able to experience it for our honeymoon as planned. We were given a room that was nothing close to the room we reserved, and then the staff tried to tell us that it was the right room, and spoke rudely to us. The room they put us in also did not have hot water, and the maintenance worker came, but did nothing to resolve the issue. We were very disappointed with the check in with this resort. After fighting with the reception desk they finally said they would move us to another one of their resorts to give us a better room. Although it still was not what we expected from our reservation, it was much better than the room they gave us originally.

The setting for all the facility is nice but room are very old especially the bathrooms and I have to call for mi pillows they were dirty and smelly

We enjoyed our stay very much. We purchased a privileged room and that was a very good decision. The gourmet restaurants are excellent and our status allowed us to eat in them whenever we wanted. In particular, having breakfast in the beach restaurant was incredibly enjoying. We did have a problem with the kayak, sailboat and diving concession, but the resort staff addressed our situation promptly and professionally. This resort is heavily visited by spanish-speaking guests and english-speaking guests were rare. That said, the staff spoke english well enough to effectively communicate with us so it was not a significant problem.

En cuanto a la oferta culinaria, somos un miembro activo de la empresa HS CONSULTING, que es una empresa inglesa que vela por la salud y la higiene y monitorea constantemente todos los aspectos relacionados con los estándares de salud e higiene dentro de nuestro hotel para asegurar a nuestros huéspedes. Sin duda, los informes que nos envía HS Consulting demuestran que operamos con altos estándares de calidad e higiene. Así lo corrobora la certificación COVID-19 Prevención Salud y Seguridad 2020, por cumplir con los estándares globales establecidos, otorgada recientemente por dicha empresa. Es muy difícil determinar el factor que pudo haber originado la enfermedad estomacal ya que puede estar relacionado con una combinación de diferentes factores como el cambio de clima, la exposición excesiva al sol, la ingestión de nuevos condimentos o simplemente la comida cocinada de manera diferente a la del regreso a casa. En conclusión, el hotel no se hace responsable de una enfermedad cuyo origen no se pueda determinar claramente y que podría haberse originado antes de su llegada a nuestro resort o debido a factores fuera de nuestro control. Estimado huésped, lamentamos mucho que sus vacaciones hayan terminado de esta manera. Revisaremos sus observaciones, para evitar una experiencia similar para futuros huéspedes.
