First off, the check in office staff woman was so charming and so lovely. What a smile. The room (#6) on the second floor was spacious with a good sized kitchen and lots of sitting options. The air con kept the bedroom coolio. Close to the beach, great food and beer/cocktails and art galleries, live music, etc. etc. Adios! for now amigos.

Great location with everything nearby and 1 block from the beach. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants, shops, quickymart & farmacies are 1 block away (oxxo too). Property is ok, needs an update in several items. Pool has some tiles off but is enjoyable. They have drinkable water fountains around the hotel making everything more easy. Unit (rooms) are clean with mini splits that work very well as well as coffee maker and fridge available that was wonderful. We had an extra area where we could hang our wet clothes (swimsuits) to get dry. We had an extra space with the view of the street with 1 chair to drink our coffee privately but outdoors. Furniture (loveseat and chair need to be clean and/or update) There is minimal furniture in the room and our luggage had to sit on the floor but they have a big closet with a safe. The only issue we had was the water heater that only worked the last day (of 6) but only for 1 person. We reported this and they came to light the pilot 2 times. Even though they did this the water was decent hot first minutes & after was just lukewarm & for the second person was only lukewarm as well. Pictures on the website are misleading, it suggest pool was on the roof because showed the pool and then a sunset view suggesting the pool was on the roof not in the center of the hotel on the ground floor. One of the reasons we booked here was because we thought we would have full sun while in the pool. our room had a kitchenette

Very specious rooms with two toilets. Nice full sized refrigerator. A kitchen with a full set of silverware. Good strong free coffee and drinking water, though a bit slow on the water refill. Cruisy windows though straight people stay here also. Quite noisy on a Friday night with people partying by the hot tub till 1 AM in the morning Join the party or bring earplugs . On Saturday night the party was over by 10 PM. All other nights were quiet. Rickety old furniture. Spotty Wi-Fi.

What is the best is the staff! Arturo, and the cute little lady that I forgot the name :(, which was beautiful... and our cleaning lady, wow! amazing. on the ball always. THere was some dirt on our window and the shower head was old. they cleaned, repainred the window case and changed the shower head. One night one of the upper apt was a bit loud and the next day it was quiet, thanks to the staff that addressed it right away. The location is fantastic one block from the beach. The only thing is that it is a small and in the shade most of the time pool with no space for chairs around it. BUt there is a great and big hottub in the back, a terrace on the top floor to see the ocean. The glass door in the back of your apt are not very sound proof so you will hear the street or the hot tub people depending where you are situated. It did not really bothered us. We were in unit 10 with the back to the hot tub. There is stairs and no elevator if you have trouble walking. Also if you are a cook, it is pretty basic, but also different in each condo unit. ours, one pot, two small pans, 4 of each, plates, bowls, etc. no wine glasses. That said every time I asked for something I got :) At last it is gay friendly, so if you have a problem with it, pick another hotel. My husband and I had no issue. WE would come back.

The penthouse was airy and sunny. I liked the quirky charm. It was bright and sunny and very clean. Front desk was helpful and always there. All the rooms were large, even the bathroom. There was a nice balcony, and some sort of outside sink room which was nice for hanging wet towels and swimsuits to dry. Had a problem with our lock and they had a locksmith and repaired the issue in under an hour. The only negative we had was there was some damage to the door, and the only security on our room was a regular door lock, no deadbolt, or any other lock. I would definately stay here again.

The bed was extremely firm. The sofa sleeper was more comfortable. The kitchen area window in the roof suite does not close fully so there is no stopping the outside noise. Very convenient. Roof resting area is nice for 2-4. If you want to sleep get a room behind the pool area closer to the jacuzzi. Ongoing construction across the street is very loud.
