Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel

We stayed before and after our cruise at this hotel. Great staff and very clean facilities. Love the bacon cheeseburger at the hotel restaurant - best I've had in a long time. Location is very convenient to pier 4 and to Old San Juan for shopping and dining. Only complaint I have is the queen size bed is really more of a twin if you get the rooms advertised as having two queen beds.

Hotel has a nice location in the old town. As SPG Gold Member , when you check in, use the normal line, not the special for Gold Member, as they serve only the normal line, had to change line to get served for check in. Expect not to much from room service, I was the whole day out , I did not had any sing of not disturbing, when I came back late in evening, no new towels, no new shampoo and bed was even not done, so do not expect that your room is done. Never have seen that before. Hotel Restaurant Bar, very nice and good service.

We stayed for 3 nights after we got off a cruise. Everything was fantastic and the location could not have been better!

Great decore in the room and hotel. I loved that my room smelled clean not like a dirty rug! The staff was so great! They made the stay even better! FYI: best oatmeal I ever had!

We decided to splurge for our last night in Puerto Rico on a room with a "view" at the Sheraton. Sounds nice, right? NOT! This very expensive hotel room with a "view" looked directly into a parking ramp. We went to talk to the front desk staff, showed him the Orbitz ad and he said that all the rooms on that side of the hotel looked straight into the ramp. SO WHY DOES THE AD SAY THAT IT IS A ROOM WITH A VIEW? We asked for something better and the hotel reservationist gave us a little bigger room, but it also looked right into the parking ramp and he say he couldn't give us a room with a better view unless we wanted to pay an additional $100. This negative experience really put a huge damper on our last night in PR. The room ended up being just average for a huge price and a horrible view. My advice--stay somewhere else if you want to stay in old San Juan. And, never trust an ad by Sheraton about a nice view.

Expensive when compared to the standard of the hotel which has seen better days. The pool at the top floor was nice and provided good relaxation after a warm day in old San Juan.

Our flight didn't arrive until after 9pm and by the time we arrived at the hotel it was closer to 10pm. Our room was beautiful, with a great view as well as local music playing outside our window. We will definitely recommend to family and friends

Rooms don't have mini fridge other than that everything else was perfect

El hotel es cómodo, limpio y queda céntrico a toda el área turística.

close to piers and in old san juan.rooms need a small table or desk to sit at to eat or work on.

We checked into the hotel to stay for one night before we headed back home. Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The concierge recommended excellent places to eat. We also used the valet parking and were pleased with this as well.

I called Sheraton Old San Juan to let them know that I could not get to Puerto Rico because of the lockdown at Fort Lauderdale Airport they would not refund my first night they said it was up to Orbitz Orbitz said it was up to them so now I have a dispute being handled by my bank I believe that Sheraton Old San Juan is responsible for accepting the cancellation for the first night.

Room was very nice. Restaurant not available as much as I would have wanted. Location was very good, with two drugstores within a block.

Great location, right by the Cruise port at Old San Juan area. Lots of places to walk to. Valet is expensive ($25/night). I recommend parking at a nearby parking structure for $8/night. Sundays can get a bit crazy in the area (especially if you are driving) with all the people coming to the port, etc. Hotel itself is ok. Needs a face lift. Feels old and run down. Carpets are worn, elevators are slow and out dated. Restaurant was sub par. Menu was just non existing and expensive. Breakfast buffet was $20, a complete ripoff. Bar was ok, cheap during happy hour (had a screwdriver for less than $5). Room was spacious, great bed, sheets and pillows. AC worked great. Internet is free and good. Cable offer is good too. Cleaning crew was OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD on the hall at all times (8am, 11am, 2pm and 5pm) and even though I had my DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door, they would call me at 8PM and ask if I my room needed some cleaning. I understand they were trying to be helpful but it kinda defeated the purpose of having the sign on the door, right? Other than this, Staff were extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel based solely on its location. Can't really beat that.

Yes it was a great experience and great customer service

Room cold. Settings not responsive. No more to write; once said and done.

This hotel charges and like a 4 star hotel, but I've stayed at 2 stars that are nicer. Check in was at 3 pm and our room want ready until almost 6pm. And the whole building was run down and wore out. Really not impressed.

Great value! if your looking to be in old san juan then thats the right hotel. hotel staff friendly and accommodating!

The bell and front desk staff were excellent. The room was pretty nice but there was only one desk chair for relaxing (another chair would have been nice for the other room occupant). Housekeeping was desultory at best and slower than a new bottle of ketchup the other 90% of the time. Housekeeping didn't show up till after 5:00 PM three of the four days (fourth day was check out). My husband declined housekeeping (at 5:11PM) one of the days since i was taking a late afternoon nap. When we got back to the room 2 seperate times the next day the garbage cans were overflowing, the beds unmade and the used towels still in the bathroom. We left for dinner at 5:25 and finally the room was cleaned when we got back around 8:00

Our room was great. We had other family members visiting our room, which was very spacious and convenient to Old San Juan district, where all happenings were.
