Wonderful staff clean comfortable rooms and an excellent location especially if you’re going on a cruise or exploring old San Juan. Short walk to the cruise port and to many bars and restaurants and the fort in old San Juan. The only complaint would be there are massive lines and rooms not ready at the 3 pm check-in time. They need to get more efficient with that but otherwise a wonderful hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will Definitely be back next time in Puerto Rico.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I was surprised by the resort fee that was charged each day. The coffee in the hotel restaurants was delicious, but the omelettes tasted like fish.

The property is by the bay where all the cruise ships anchor but this is not a problem at all, they don't make noise, they are just gigantic. Hotel personnel was wonderful (except one morning our server was just OK) but overall a great place to stay, our room was fantastic and we will definitely, not only recommend it to our friends but we will not hesitate to come back.

My experience at Hotel Rumbao was amazing! They kindly allowed me to check in early because I was dealing with chronic pain, which I truly appreciated. I also received a nightly credit to use during my stay. The view from my room was immaculate, the bedroom was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food at both restaurants was delicious as well. Overall, a 10/10 stay — highly recommend!
