Disgusting conditions, lying employees, rude and irresponsible unresponsive owner. I ended up here after not planning well on a long holiday weekend. It looked pretty rundown from the outside but it was late, and I was hot, tired and in need of a shower. I checked in and went to my room to shower. After discovering disgusting black mold on the shower curtain, I brought it down to the front desk and showed it to the employee and asked for a clean one. The blonde woman who I later learned might be named Stacy Guess, apologized and bought it to the attention of the owner, a small Asian woman who came out of the back room apartment and handed me a new one. At that time I believe I asked for a discount off of the $94 price tag of this room and was offered a ten percent discount, which I declined. I went back up to my room and installed the shower curtain and got in to take a shower only to turn around and find the entire shower wall covered with black mold. I reluctantly stayed the night though I would have been better off sleeping in my truck. The next day at check out, I once again asked for a credit due to the filthy condition of the room and was offered 20 percent, which I also declined. I later disputed the charge with my credit card only to have the company lie in their documentation. Luckily, I took photos and am now disputing the charge once again. What ever you do, do NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I think the rooms at any of the towns many prisons would be much cleaner than this.

Drugs being ran out of the building and management is always high on meth and absolutely dirty rooms and horrible service this hotel needs to be shut down , I would not recommend this hotel to anybody at all!

We stayed here while traveling last minute. There were no other rooms in town that would accept a pet, and it was late in the evening. The receptionist stated there was only one room left here. I have never experienced such a horrifying dirty hotel. No exaggeration-there was old food, hair, and dead bugs on the floors. The room looked as though there had been someone living in the room-long term. The toilet had old stool on the lid and obviously had not been cleaned for a very long time. There was a pile of black hair in the shower drain, as though several showers had been taken without cleaning. I found a lighter on the floor, next to the bed. There was know one at the desk the next morning to ask for a refund. We would have left that night and driven to another town had we not made early reservations for a raft trip near by. I cannot believe this place is open to the public.

Great stay, friendly staff very helpful and acomidating:) I would recommend staying at the budget host. I had several questions and the front desk was very helpful and made my stay enjoyable. I definitely would stay again.

This place hasn't been updated since the early 80's. Lobby was stifling hot with a dog running around behind the desk. Place appeared to be deserted, you have to pick up a phone a call to get someone to the front desk, which then they appear from behind one way mirror. Creepy. You're not on this tight of a "Budget"

YEP THE WORST. THEY LIVE IN THE ROOMS. STOLE OUR COOLER AS WE WERE PACKING THE VEHICLE TO LEAVE VIA SIDE DOOR. GET ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY. dirty filthy cheap old outdated rude and air con not stay here we were horrified here. they speak broken english and i am telling you they live on the property in the rooms next to the office. we had to go buy a sheet just to throw over the bed and sleep on. yeah the entire place is dirt dirt dirt.

Booked this motel because all others were full or, overpriced on a Memorial Day weekend. We expected a very basic, budget motel and that's exactly what we got. There was a micro and fridge in the room but, no in room coffee and a one cup minimum available in the lobby whenever they got around to setting it out. Beds were old but, clean. The carpet has seen it's better days, it was vacuumed OK but stained. Shower was real good with a ton of water output. The inside corridor hallway is usually a negative for me but, it was made worse by an offending odor permeating the halls - maybe from the proprietors kitchen? The pleasant surprise was the pool and hot tub. This area was impeccably maintained and they didn't have a bunch of hokey rules to follow in order to use it.

OK, so we were traveling and made reservations about 2 hours prior to arrival. Upon arrival, I was told they gave my smoking room away and had none. The front desk was so unprofessional, we opted to stay elsewhere. After reading the reviews I am very glad we did.

Ok, this is tough love for these new business owners. Take a hard look, as a customer, at your front desk area. It is not welcoming, not friendly, and is completely unlike your very nice front desk staff. Take down the TWO signs that say "NO TRESPASSING" -- this made me think it was an unsafe inn. Take down the sign by the coffee that says "one cup only" -- coffee is cheap and this makes you look cheap. Put up some "WELCOME" signs. Have some flowers in a vase. If you want a model, look at the front desk of the Hampton down the street. We need budget hotels but there is no reason to have a front desk like you have, this facility has good bones, the room was fine -- not fancy but did not expect it to be so for this price. Believe me, you can make this hotel a great success, but you will have to enhance your management skills.

We paid for 2 nights and were not able to see room...we had to reserve online and have stayed in other Budget Host Inns before so we thought this one would be OK too. Was HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! We were told it was a Queen bed and it was not. It is a full size and it must be 20 yrs old. So uncomfortable and old. The chairs that they give you to sit in are like the chairs in a doctors office waiting room. Hardly any padding and very UNCOMFORTABLE. No luggage rack, no coffee maker, etc. We left Sunday morning and got a room at the Qualtiy Inn in Canon City and it was excellent. This is a most horrible place to stay. False advertising too with "Queen bed" as they only have full size. The air conditioning was not very cold either. A HORRIBLE ROOM!!!
