Great central hotel. Very clean and staff always welcoming. Small but perfect rooftop pool along with bar and loungers were the icing on the cake. Went in October and 33 degrees. No restaurant but not a problem for us as restaurants all within walking distance. Fabulous city break.

We stayed 3 nights in October. Location: in heart of town. Great shops, restaurants, bars and easy walk to main attractions: cathedral, real Alcazar, Triana, river, anywhere. Room: I requested a quiet room and C6 is great. 2nd floor. Clean cool comfy. Staff: friendly and professional. Housekeeping unobtrusive and efficient. Terrific to come back to a cool clean and comfy room at the end of a long day sightseeing. Front of house - unflappable, friendly and professional. Being multi-lingual made it easy for their international guests. Alejandro even reconfirmed my next booking with the hotel for me. Corner store about 10 steps away has postcards, last minute souvenirs, chocolate and really cheap beer. 4 stars are well deserved for Hotel Posada del Lucero.

Excellent service, a cool oasis, and centrally located. Just what we needed here in Seville. Reception staff very accommodating. Modern refurbishment, with interesting old features.Chilled water at reception most welcome. Rooms very comfortable and well air-conditioned

We found the hotel searching online for a lovely place to enjoy a long weekend with our friends. We thought we had found it. Once we had checked in we KNEW we had found it. Posada del Lucero ticks many boxes. It is in an amazing building which has been well converted to have interesting rooms (some overlooking courtyards, some the street). The rooms are well appointed - not massive, but they did not need to be. The rooftop bar was just delightful in the warm September day and evenings and it is a wonderful place to be your base to tour Seville. Everything is within a thirty minute walk (many things much closer) and it was lovely to be welcomed back to our "home from home".

Room is big, clean and comfortable. Love the firm bed. Close to the "mushroom" and shopping and restaurants. Good walking distance to the Alcazar and Seville Cathedral. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would go back again. Facilities is modern. Had a room looking out the streets. Enjoyed my stay.

Better than expectations. It's been recently updated and everything feels newer. Do try to get a higher floor room cause tiled floor on the first floor echoes everything and since it is a traditional style court yard there are no windows to the street. We stayed in one of the few front units with king bed that faced busy street and next to mechanical room. Enough of noise, especially with electrical fuse box exposed on the wall. They should cover those boxes for sure. Bar and little pool on the roof is a nice touch. Staff is good. Breakfast is okay and will do if you are lazy or in the rush. I would recommend.

The hotel is an old posada from the 16th century nicely renovated. The room and bathroom were spacious. The small (refreshing) pool in the roof top was very nice. The staff was very friendly! Excellent! The hotel was in the city center, very centrally located.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was most helpful in giving very good recommendations for local restaurants and tapas bars and various tours. Daily room make up was excellant The bed was extremely comfortable and liked the expresso machine in the room ! I would definitely return to your hotel on my next trip to Seville and highly recommend it ti others

Excellent hotel, very good central location, set in an old building with old style marble interior. Rooms good, ours didn't have an external window which sounds odd but actually works well on the basis we were only there for B&B, the air con is good, comfy beds. Excellent breakfast. We stayed 3 nights. Roof terrace & bar should you need an external place to sit. Seville is a fabulous city, loads to see.

I highly recommend this hotel. It has been beautifully updated yet still retains such character. The rooms are a decent size with great beds! What made this a stand out for me was their service. With my online booking I asked for adjacent rooms as we are a family of 4, with young children. This seems to be a problem with so many hotels but it was quickly accommodated. A late check out was also requested and again, it wasn't a problem at all. We were able to swim all day, escaping the searing heat and keep one room to clean up in before our late flight home. All staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I will be returning to this hotel and highly recommend it. It also very central, walking distance to lots of cultural attractions and shopping.
