Overall, a nice hotel, well located in a very good area. Decent breakfast, friendly staff, elegant rooms, comfortable beds at a very competitive price. However, the sound proofing is terrible and the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. I was first put in a room next to reception, in front of the elevator. I could hear conversations at reception and the constant ballet of people with their wheeled travel bag. 30 min after checkin, I asked if there was another room available with no success. Tried again an hour later and bingo, there was another room available on the 1st floor. Sound issue was better though the walls of this room were paper thin. I could hear one neighbour showering and coughing. The other neighbours chatted one night until 2 am at a low level but could still hear them. It’s really a shame that they did not put any money in minimum sound proofing. I would probably never stay again just because of the sound issue. I wish I could give a good review but the noise was a real issue
I was charge 20 Euros for 1 night of parking. Rooms are small but ok.
Very nice hotel overall, but there are some disadvantages. The glass bathroom door has big gaps around it. No privacy. If your windows look at the breakfast area below, it becomes very noisy early in the morning. There are no drawers in the wardrobe, and only two shelves. Other than that, staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast is excellent. Location is good enough, about 15-20 minutes strall from the center. And the best on Earth tapas restaurant Eslava is a couple of blocks away.
Booked this as a nice break from a long trip with great reviews about the bed. The time we arrived the said they have a problem with rooms and would move us to a sister hote with same stars. The only reason the hote they moved us to had the same stars was because they drew it on in crayon. It was a 2 started they moved us with horrible beds and roooms. I then later that night went to look of the Eurostar Regina had no rooms and they were selling the rooms for double the price. The rooms we would of had at twice the price on Orbitz. SCAM AND NOTHIBG BUT A SCAM. . This is a scam !! They book you and and then move you to a cheaper hotel. Making them a nice profit THEY HOTE STAFF FORCED US INTO THE MOVE ! Almost blackmailed. Making stuff up and giving us no recourse. If staying here be careful.
Good location w/ bus station near by and price is also good for visiting Seville
Excellent hotel attention, room service and breakfast. Excellent location to visit all the wonderful attractions of the city.
We paid for a room with air conditioner, they sell that the room has air conditioner. This was very bad!! This is not fair. The staff very nice, the breakfast buffet of 8 euros is very good.
Expensive hotel, the air conditioner is off!! I paid for a room with air conditioner and the person in the reception tell me that how the day is with rain, the air conditioner in the entire hotel is off!!! Ths staff very nice. Is very difficult the street for this hotel. The breakfast buffet for 8 euros is good.
The hotel and the staff were decent enough but the room was quite small (though our children's room was a little bigger). But worse was that the hotel was a good 15 minute+ walk away from downtown attractions and there were few restaurants nearby. It was "ok" not good or great... The front desk people were very helpful with various questions we had on flamenco dancing etc
Well, to put it simply: not recommended. We went with this hotel since we had stayed at another Eurostars while travelling in Spain. I'm not saying this is the best hotel chain we encountered, but as a last minute, low price option, we felt it was a good choice; at least the staff had been really nice at the previous Eurostars in Madrid. Well, that was not the case at all here. We arrived late in the evening and the one guy at the counter was extremely unhelpful, uncourteous, and acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. The hotel is very ugly and old, and the rooms, although remodeled, were nothing to write home about. We had a disgusting shower curtain in the bathroom, the beds were hard, and don't be enticed by the courtyard style of the hotel; it's MUCH prettier in the pictures that they have posted than reality. Plus, it's not AT ALL close to the historic part of the city as is stated. And if you're driving to the hotel, you'll probably loose yourself, plus expect to pay about 12 euros for parking. All in all, not happy what-so-ever!
