It was a great stay! We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and weekend breakfast buffet.
We were visiting the area for a college "Family Weekend" and picked the Marriott primarily for its location. I thought the hotel was nice, but found our room small, especially the closet/bathroom area. We used the fitness facilities and found them adequate. The spa staff were very friendly. The last morning we asked at the front desk for a breakfast suggestion that was not in downtown Princeton (due to the marathon) and the woman was not very helpful, letting us know there was a diner along Rt. 1, and maybe if we kept driving we'd find a Denny's.
good location, pleasant and friendly staff; but, expensive internet connection, didn't use my laptop in room........room are small and thin walls. We have kids next room, called to reduce volume at evening and woke up from baby cry :((..... otherwise, good service, probably will stay again
Was treated professionally and with much courtesy and hotel was quiet comfortable.
Came from NYC without a car and used the complimentary hotel shuttle for connection to the train station and downtown Princeton. They were very accommodating and had the ride for us when we needed it, including in the evening hours, after we attended a reception at the Princeton Art Museum. The hotel facilities were nice too, a great gym, indoor pool and Jacuzzi.
I love this hotel! It was so comfortable and very clean. The staff was super friendly. Lovely amenities: restaurant, bar, outdoor patios. A bit further out from the heart of Princeton, but worth the few minutes more travel time.
Helpful front desk (provided shuttle to local wedding), breakfast options less crazy expensive than many hotels,
the room was very big but the location was not ideal
We had a great stay and the staff was very nice. Great place to stay when visiting Princeton U.
The location is excellent - away from the hustle and noise of the city, but easily accessable to town and restaurants and the setting is gorgeous - serene and restful. The hotel architecture is unique, rooms well appointed and clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We booked this last minute and what a find!
Bathroom and closets are are abysmal in layout and space for a couple and barely acceptable for a single. The setting, staff and public areas are superb and somewhat makeup for the rooms. No one should be paying for Internet and certainly not $14 a day at a quality hotel.
Spent the weekend there before the Cornell/Princeton football game. Wonderful light, beautiful decor in a wooded setting on the Forrestal Campus of Princeton. Via Orbitz, our breakfast was included with the meal ... saved us over $100 because the breakfast buffet was expensive, but very good. We had mutliple teams with us, football, soccer, hockey, and crew ... all well behaved Ivy Leaguers. The next time we visit our son, we will stay there again. Excellent service and amenities.
We went to Princeton for a wedding and stayed one night at the Marriott. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient to Route 1 and downtown Princeton, but felt quiet and somewhat secluded. The bathroom was a bit on the small side and the water flow from the sink could've been stronger, but otherwise a great, smooth stay, and a fantastic value!
The atmosphere was tranquil and the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was well worth the cost.
Had the opportunity to visit Princeton University and really enjoyed the ambiance and the ability to recharge my batteries. Only challenge was that the water was out in my room and I was on hold for 20 minutes waiting on hold for response. Wasn't a big deal but the desk person was probably new and didn't know better than to keep me on hold! Did not spoil the trip.
We were only there overnight. There needs to be a safe in the room. Other than that, it was a very nice experience.
My husband and I came with our two sons. We only stayed two nights so we didn't get a chance to use all the amenities. Our room was perfect. Very clean and perfect for our needs. The beds were very cozy. The bathroom was a little small but manageable. The hotel is huge and caters to a lot of social events. Infact we were there for Mother's Day and they had a lovely brunch. Did a really nice job. There is a bar/restaurant that we went to a couple times. We had delicious meals there, even the kids liked it. We would stay there again and recommend our friends to stay there also. It is very close to Princeton which is a beautiful area and great restaurants.
