Homewood Suites by Hilton Princeton

Recent guest reviews

This suite was large with a kitchen and quite clean. The breakfast was lovely and the lobby area was comfortable and well decorated. The staff attending the desk were friendly and so helpful. Beds were comfortable too. Downsides were - the room faced the highway and was loud all night, the bathroom smelled strongly of sewer or mold and I had to shut the door and try to use the toilet in the lobby - the heating system was either ON (loud and clanky screaming heat) or OFF (freezing). That the half n half in my room coffee curdled put me over the top into the cranky category.

The bathroom in my room was horrible the toliet was stopped up i guess so it overflow urine and feces everywhere

The breakfast was above average and was the best part of our stay. The first room we were given had a broken lock that prevented the door from closing. We waited for maintenance and finally asked for and were given a different room. There were ants in the kitchen of the new room. The swimming pool area was decent but the water was so cloudy I couldn't see my feet in three feet of water. We won't stay again.

It's a nice hotel overall and the breakfast was a plus.

Great stay short or long definitely coming back ASAP

Close to road and rail transportation, as well as to princeton Uni. Right off Rte. 1 S, close to amenities

Made use of the provided kitchen items for dinner.

This is a great spot and being extended stay, the rooms are well sized and the separate living room option is great. The kitchenette was more than sufficient, 2 burner stovetop, full size microwave and refrigerator. Be careful with GPS, use road name not route #.

The hotel was not hard to find being that I drive past it every day. The check in was very fast and simple. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel serves a wide variety of food for breakfast. I really was not able to experience all the amenities of the hotel but I have no complaints. I would definitely stay again.

front desk staff needs improvement. Staff was not competent - made us wait a long time to check in, a assigned us to a smoking room rather than a non-smoking room. General manager helped rectify situation

Please check with the counter clerk at to verify that I requested a full refund of $826.28 for the two day stay and that we vacated the premises prior to the check-out time on Monday, June 24, 2013. The clerk was unable to expedite the refund request and Instructed me that I had to negotiate the refund directly with you, to which I am now engaged. The beds in both rooms rented were defective and both me and my wife suffered back pain after reclining upon them in the attempt to get some rest. My wife, who recently underwent spinal surgery, is still experiencing recurrent spasms as a direct result from this bad experience. Wall noises from air conditioning equipment and the TVs in adjacent rented apartments, when coupled with the defective bedding accommodations, made it impossible to get to sleep or even obtain a modicum of rest & relaxation. Sincerely, BYRON MARTYN

Quiet, clean, convenient, comfortable, spacious, everything you would want for an extended stay. Breakfast every day, dinner four nights. I'll be back.

We were attending the Princeton Preview Event for admitted students. Homewood was the perfect place and location for us - less than 10 minutes from campus. Returning in the evening, dinner was prepared for me and in the morning, a scrumptous breakfast awaited me before I left for Princeton University. The staff was readily available to assist. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. it was perfect for us.

The room was very nice, bed was very comfortable. Only issue was the commode was loose on tile floor/wall,but easily fixable. Everything was very nice in kitchen etc if you needed any utensils they had them.

Nice, clean, easy commute to the University.

Went there for a Valentine's weekend. Hotel was very nice and clean. check-in was a breeze, all staff friendly. Was able to get a smoking suite with a Queen bed - a real plus for us. space a little tight but comfortable. Had full free breakfast. WiFi was free. Convenient to downtown Princeton and shoppinf malls and restaurants. Hotel was VERY quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay. A bargain!

My fiance and I spent the weekend in Princeton and decided to hunker down at Homewood Suites. When we arrived, the front desk informed us that we had been upgraded - nice. We had plenty of space in a VERY clean room. We took the free shuttle into Princeton which was really convenient. We were also surprised at what a nice continental breakfast the hotel provided. Finally, the hotel staff was quick to respond when we told them the people in the next room over were being loud, late into the night. Not even 10 minutes after making the call the noise came to an end!

I visited Princeton Univ. I was very pleased with the Homewood Suites breakfast.

On a 2 day trip that included a need to create a report the first night, this was the perfect solution for me. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was very useful. The staff was extremely helpful as well. Next time I plan to use their pool and gym facilities as the pool was first rate. The business center was perfect for my needs as well. This helped make this stay a productive and restful one all at the same time. And due to a severe weather alert, they were able to hold a room for me in case I couldn't travel with no reservation/cancellation fee! The best: The complimentary hot continental breakfast To Improve: Grocery shopping valet would work for these great studios. I stayed in Queensize Studio, with pull out sofa.

Rooms were spacious and staff is very friendly. The heating/airconditioner is very noisy as it goes on and off and woke us up at night.
