THE GYM IS NOT GOOD. Very small! The property is so big and the gym is the smallest gym we ever saw in the entire USA!!! Health and exercise matters! Please do something about it. One of the reasons people go to nice places to sleep is because they ge a good gym to start the day the right way!!

We booked two rooms. The heat in our first room did not work, and we spent a very cold night. They could not fix the issue the next day, and we had to switch to a different room. The second room we had booked had an awful "fishy" smell to it. At breakfast, we asked a staff person who was managing the breakfast what type of meat was the sausage as it was unlabeled. She mistakenly told us it was beef, and my kids at some of it before someone else correctly identified it as pork which is against our religion. In general, the breakfasts should have non-pork meat options and clearly label what the meat is to avoid such errors. Our rooms ran out of toilet paper, and we had to go downstairs multiple times to get a roll as one of the rooms only had a half roll left in it. I do not recall staying at a hotel which didn't have extra rolls of toilet paper in the room - particularly a suite meant for 6 people. The staff was friendly and polite, but the hotel needs some serious attention.

The night clerk was able to hold my room until I arrived after 3 am due to a 9 hour airline delay and then diversion to a distant city from which I had to drive. The room was comfortable and more than adequate except for the kitchen area. There were only four glasses, 3 of which matched but were only about 3 ounce size. There were no bowls. There was only 1 fork. There were two large plates and 0 small plates. The coffee maker did not have the tray into which the single serve bag was to be placed. BTW, there were only 2 packets of decaf coffee and only 1 packet of regular coffee and only 1 cup; had to get coffee from the breakfast area.

While laying in bed I found bedbugs on my pillow. Reported it to the front desk and they moved us to a new room. That’s it’s… when I showed the front desk the video of the bed bug on the pillow they just said “ew… sorry about that.” When we got to the new room I flipped the mattresses over and checked every crack and crevice I could to see if that room was infested too. I didn’t find anything in that room but that didn’t really give me peace of mind… my family and I could barely sleep, any little thing had us thinking it was a bed bug. I was previously in pest control for 18 years so knowing how bed bugs operate and what they can do to a home in a small amount of time left me on edge all night. We left the hotel extremely early in the morning. Couldn’t spend 1 more minute than we had to at that point.
