Black Rooster Guesthouse

Beautiful rooms and wonderful hospitality!

The guesthouse consists of three side-by-side houses. The one we were in seemed brand new, and was gorgeously decorated. The ground floor is a beautiful living area and full kitchen/dining area. Upstairs were four "bedrooms" which each had their own bath. Ours also had a private balcony. I felt like we were staying in one of the models from a brand new housing development, it was that nicely decorated. Hospitality -- we had to stay late the day we checked out, to wait for the ferry departure, and staff graciously accommodated us and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We even got to do our laundry which was especially welcome by this point in the trip! Thanks, Black Rooster!

Tall Trees Bed & Breakfast

Quiet but quirky B & B

The room was quiet, private and very clean. Host / owner was very friendly and helpful. The house is located alongside a very nice walking path and very close to a handful of good restaurants and a brew pub. The bathroom in the room we had, West Suite, was somewhat quirky and a little dangerous. inside the door it takes three steps down, turns to the left with another "surprise" step down that nearly throws you through the glass shower door if you don't see it (I didn't).
