Our hostess was lovely and informative. The house was eclectic, very interesting.. I did have concerns first of all the spiral staircase going to the basement did not have a railing to prevent someone from falling into the hole on the floor. In general, the house was not very clean, grease buildup on the stove fan cause the house to smell like old grease. Our bedroom the front room was large with lots of storage space. We had a private bath with a shower and a deep tub they were clean. Our bed was hard and lumpy, the pillows, flat and hard, the micro fabric sheets had no elastic in the corners so they pulled off the mattress, and the duvet cover was ripped and tattered at the bottom, not fitting the bed properly.
I feel the hosts may have too much on their plate to ensure the house is well maintained and supplies are in good standing. The price point was slightly high for the quality.
Over all we found that our needs were met and the location was good, a nice walking distance to Cow Bay
