I was very disappointed in this property. The pictures are misleading. I booked this hotel based solely on the fact they had an outdoor pool. The weather was in the high 70s-low 80s and we were looking forward to swimming and getting some sunshine. When we checked in I asked about the pool hours and was told it wasn't open yet! I was very upset! NO WHERE does it say that the pool is seasonal. I was willing to overlook the datedness of this property for the use of the outdoor pool and was devastated by this news. Thankfully the bed was comfortable. However the bathroom was not clean. There was a strange goo on the bathroom counter under the glass tray. The tray didn't hold anything so I don't know why it was there nor do I know what the goo was (other than gross). A few times in the night we could smell cigarette smoke as if it were actually in our room! We are nonsmokers and this made me ill. The smoke was coming from the next room over because there wasn't anyone outside and our windows were closed. The hall outside our room smelled like and overfull ashtray. In the morning some bikers were revving up their motorcycles really loud just outside our room for an extended period of time before taking off. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. The only consolation was that the two front desk staff we encountered (one the night we checked in and the other the next morning) were both very friendly and sympathetic. We only stayed 1 of the 3 nights we reserved.
