Extended Stay America - Fishkill - Route 9

We were switched to a second facility, reservation was not the same, bathroom was not clean. Kitchen with no supplies of any kind, and breakfast was not what was advertised. Price was right though.

The kitchen floor was dirty and the drawers and counter were sticky. The toilet didn't work properly. At one point it wouldn't flush. The pull out couch was not comfortable at all. We ended up folding it back and just sleeping on it in its regular state. The area was nice which leads you to believe that the hotel would be clean and up to date. I will not stay there again.

The hotel was clean, rooms was nicely furnished and seemed recently updated, location was good and convenient. Draw back even though the hotel is a smoke free hotel the hall way and elevator smelled of smoke, So if the designated smoking area could be relocated that would be good, house keeping could spend a little bit more time in the common area and clean under the bed and refrigerator drawers. And a little bit more breakfast selection would be nice other than, hot chocolate oatmeal and muffin, tea and coffee. Other than that yes I'd stay there again. I'd rate it 2.8

There was a confusion with the way they had my reservation. They had it for a day earlier than I had put in to Orbitz, the correct date was on the itinerary I printed out from Orbitz. Luckily they were able to get me a room after they told me they didn't have any.

just a quick overnight stay for a buisness seminar. room was ok, quiet, good internet service breakfast was really grab & go nothing much there.

In my opinion This place should be called extended stay America and section 8

This was the third Extended Stay Hotel I have stayed at, and the quality of the three were quite different. This one was in the middle of the other two. I chose Extended Stay again because of the kitchen facilities and the length my intended stay. The hotel and room were clean, though there was an odor, like stale smoke or something; not sickening, just present. The big turn off for me was the decor. It was dreary; had little style; and looked thrown together. And that matters if you are planning an extended stay. Luckily, I had only booked two nights to get a feel for the place, and am glad that was the extent.

Stayed here while working in the area. Surely fine for a few nights. Did have a bit of difficulty checking in late at night, front desk had trouble finding my reservation more than once.

2nd time at extended stay in fishkill (25 Merrit). convenient location Mike, front desk was scrambling. get this guy a 2nd at FD! he was excellent how much would it cost to have a few of those little sewing kits? i know you are conserving $$ but i lost a button & wouold have liked that service. creamers/milk (even powdered) for the gram & go. that liquid chemical option is not good.

I stay here every time I visit Fishkill (about once a year). This is not a high-end hotel, but it is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Because this is an extended stay accommodation, the amenities are somewhat limited, but you do have a full kitchenette in the room, which can be convenient. Overall, a good value for what you get. I'll definitely be going back.

Not all.that. prime loc a room Desk clerk always outside smoking. Have to wait to check in. Room was non smoking. Entire floor reeked of heavy heavy.smoke.

Room was small but the price was good. It was right off of the main road and was next to several restaurants which is a plus. They did not have continental breakfast but they did have some coffee and muffins.

Weak at best. Hotel and rooms smelled like smoke. Hotel staff weak. Not the cleanest hotel I have stayed at and the bed was uncomfortable.

Nothing special, nothing bad. Stayed here because I was visiting New Paltz and everything there was booked (I booked late and it was parents' weekend at the college). My only complaint is that the non-smoking room smelled smoky. Otherwise, it was fine for a night. Also, it's not called Homestead anymore; they renamed it America's Extended Stay.

Good for an vernight stay and in a central location.

Clean rooms in a convenient location. Easy access on/off the freeway, close to shopping and dining.

Fairly clean although we saw a spider. Mildew on shower.

It was just ok. Next time we will pay a bit more for the Hyatt

This was a very nice hotel - it was well maintained and inviting. The landscaping was so pretty with all the lovely flowers. The lobby was small but inviting - beyond the lobby was an area where you could get a free cup of coffee all day and tables and chairs if you were perhaps having a meeting. Beyond this through a set of glass doors was a courtyard to sit out if you so desired. The staff was always there for any questions or just to chat a bit with their guests. They were all very personable. One of the biggest pluses is that pets are allowed and if you are a pet lover you know how much this means. Would definitely stay here again.

I was pleased with this hotel-stayed here twice. The kitchen has plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, mugs, servers, and two pots. Everything was clean. Thermostat worked well, shower was always hot. It's perfect for the price.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the housekeeping issues you encountered which resulted in a disappointing stay. We have checklists in place to inspect every suite after it has been serviced. The cleanliness and room condition you describe is unacceptable and not at all representative of our quality standards. We are meeting with staff members to discuss this situation and reiterate the importance of impeccable customer service and attention to detail. We invite you to come back and validate the changes we will be implementing and to experience the stay you expect and deserve. Sincerely, Hotel Management
