I was in town with my daughter in law &3grandchildren (2 are infant twins) to visit my son. Upon reaching the Comfort Inn we found the guest side door not to have a lock on it. The smell in the hallway was that of mildew &cigarette smoke. When entering the room we noticed what appeared to be clean towels that had fallen off the shelf above the toilet into the toilet. The room smelled just as the hallway did. And what appeared to be mold was on the bathroom ceiling &walls. Additionally, the bed linens on the one bed appeared to be soiled. When notifying the desk clerk he made no effort to look into our situation or offer to change the bed linens as well as stating that he had no knowledge of the hotel having a flood of any sort. There was also no offer of another room. Due to the apparent uncleanliness and odor we stayed for approximately one hour before canceling our reservation as we felt the conditions were not condusive to the best welfare of the children and my daughter in law began to wheeze from her asthma.
I couldn't have been happier with the King Room with Jaquizi tube. I checked in a bit early, no problem, Frontdesk staff and housekeeping staff were great. This Comfort Inn is located in the middle of the small town, easy access to everything I needed. It is clean and tidy and most of all quiet. Even with a large guest list of Motorcycle riders, was amazingly quiet. I will definately stay there again when visiting friends and family in the area. Next time I will stay longer.
We attended a family reunion,ths time we had a better hotel at a better price.Much better than previous trips.
Campmeeting 2009 Yes! Orbitz overcharged us for the room. The places we stayed in Switzerland cost as much as we were charged for this room, including the Matterhorn!
