I've stayed here before when traveling since it's the only hotel in Portsmouth that isn't bug-infested and dirty. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, the shower was nice, and the towels were clean.

Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms. Breakfast not included, but hotel restaurant reasonably priced.

In town for a weekend show, excellent hotel, very clean and rooms were very comfortable. Food at restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Pool area looked very clean even though we did not swim. Short walk to local pubs and other restaurants. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, we will definitely stay here again

Nice hotel, dusty room especially near tv and fridge, room was small, beds comfy but one double had broken box spring, pool was awesome and main reason we choose this hotel. Restaurant was pricey, food was ok, but nothing special, need to ask for a voucher for kids to eat free. For the cost the breakfast should of been free.

Had to travel to the Portsmouth, Ohio area for business and had several hotels in the area to pick. Reviews looked good on this one, but was a little concerned driving there from Cincinnati with the surrounding area and roads needed to get there. But on arrival, was pleasantly surprised and relieved! It's a very well maintained, clean and attractive hotel! The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. Room was nicely appointed and the bed was so comfortable, I'm going to call and see which one they use! The restaurant was adequate and convenient and usually available when I needed it. When I needed a snack off hours in the afternoon, there were several places close by that were nice. I would definitely stay there again but next time, remember my bathing suit!

This is my first stay at this hotel. We stayed in a double with two double beds. It's the priciest in the area but I had stayed at the Quality Inn a couple miles north a few months ago and didn't care for it. The décor is very nice. They have a big resort-like indoor pool area with a hot tub. They also have a hotel restaurant with room service. We did not use either of these services during this stay but probably will in the future. The only complaint I have about the hotel is the rooms are small. If they could have had 30 - 50 more sq. ft., everything would have fit much better. 1st) The value of staying in a double bedded room is to be able to sleep 4 people. Doubles are roomy twin beds. The bed To match the quality of the décor, the rooms should have queens. Also, the beds are too soft! I was okay for one night but my daughter did not sleep well. The lounge chair was not positioned like it was meant for use but for storage. The bathroom seemed like it all barely fit the tub and toilet. The front door opened right into the sink. But with all that said it was very nice and the staff was great. It will be our place to go when we visit the child in college.

First off the guy at the counter was a little rude. The windows in our room were COVERED in cob webs. The batteries in our remote control for the TV were dead.

Memorable stay with a special person. Hotel was clean, modern, and the staff was friendly. Enjoyed romantic night walk through the city of Portsmouth ending up at the gaze bo across the street where we enjoyed each others company, shared stories and laughs. Had a great time!

The hotel appears to have been totally renovated-fresh carpeting, tile, decor, furniture in the rooms and common areas. Great indoor pool area. I'll bring the whole family next time.
