The hotel it's not downtown but it's next to the Arrabida Sopping Center so you can have dinner, go shopping or go to the cinema. I would recommend to rent s car. Otherwise is quite neat the center do you can always use a taxi. Excellent to make small conventions. Service is excellent.
We visited the town of Porto with a great crowd and this hotel provided us with a pleasant stay and only breakfast was very good, lunch and dinner we were eating out. Would recommend to everyone to visit Porto and definitely recommend the hotel.
We were here for 3 nights in March. Good parking for the car (outside was free) The staff were always smiling and so helpful and cheerful. The room was brilliant and spacious with extra large shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was one to satisfy EVERYBODY!! (and great quality food throughout). We had dinner in the small dining area and it was reasonably priced and good without being "gourmet"! House wine was excellent also! I look forward to bringing my Wine Appreciation group here in June!
Comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. Plenty of car parking, excellent food and in particular the buffet breakfast. A huge array of breads, cheeses, fruits of all sorts, seeds, cereals, and an array of hot food. Even a separate little cart of cakes for children (used by adults!). We are taking a group of people there this summer, and I look forward to returning to this hotel.
This is a great hotel but the location is somewhat awkward. To get there from the nearest metro station is either 10€ in a taxi ( not rush hour) or half an hour on the bus and a bit of a walk. If I was on a business trip fine but it is too far from the centre of things for a holiday hotel. Fab staff.
Excellent location, excellent service level and priceXbenefits. Best option in Porto ! A good shopping center accessible walking around. Good park and easy to reach by car. Your family will really love it !!!!
Short taxi ride from airport. Great reception greeting from Ricardo. Good sized room with super comfy bed. Tea and coffee a bonus. Compact bathroom with everything you would expect including hairdryer. Lots of toiletries and replenished daily. Room changed daily and kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was really good with plenty of variety though not sure about sprouts for breakfast! All staff in all departments really excellent. Very quiet at night so ready for the next busy day ahead. Taxi to the riverfront is about 5€ and well worth the ride as the walk would take about 40 minutes. Great place to stay and would be happy to return.
With great views over the town and river, this was a brilliant find. The hotel staff were excellent ensuring we had everything we needed. They gave us advice on sights to see and also how much to pay for a taxi. Although close to the town it would be a 45 minute walk down a steep hil and of course a steep climb up on your return so we didn't bother and as the said it was only five euros to get to the cable car and easy access to every where. The buffet was great value for money as it was included in the room price. Bar prices for a hotel were really good. Close by was the big shopping centre where you could get everything.
very nice hotel with good location, right next to one of the biggest shopping malls in Porto area as well as main roads and access route... kind staff, very diligent to help. I would recommend this hotel for leisure as well as for business purposes
The hotel is close to the main sights. The hotel provides access to the Shopping Arrábida and supermarket, as well as being close to one of the best hospitals in Portugal. Excellent staff care, breakfast and exceptional room cleanliness. I'II be back!
