It was actually a while ago that we stayed but I'm catching up on some reviews. The hotel was not fancy but it was clean. The staff was very helpful and made some good recommendations for dinner. It was a very short walk to the metro. It is a bit of a way from Porto Central but was a good value for the money. If you want to be near the river or the wineries, this is not the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and found the staff very helpful and friendly. Good choices of food for breakfast and the room was of a reasonable size and well maintained. No bath but the shower was a really good size. Only down side was the traffic noise but the air con was efficient and more importantly quiet. Overall - very good

The rooms are quite sparse and dark, and they are not 4 star if you have high expectations do not stay here. The hotel reminded me a lot of a hostel or backpackers but with the amenities that are needed. There is also a large shopping centre nearby if you are sick of sight seeing and would just like to spend some time shopping. The hotel is good value for money- book your parking in advance if you have a car.

This is a budget hotel about 20-25 minutes walk to Porto centre. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Service good. Breakfast offerings are above average for a budget hotel. Would use again only drawback is the long walk back uphill from city centre.

Had a conference at Holiday Inn but the price was too expensive so chose this hotel which was walking distance to Holiday inn and also beside the Tram stop. Arrived at 11pm so asked for the shuttle service (cost 30 euro). The person was not there on time but maybe we couldnt find the driver. Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The big advantage of this hotel is that it is right beside the tram stop so you can take yellow city line very easily. The big shopping mall was right beside so getting food or others were easy. Went to the beach by taking a tram and a bus so was not so bad and it was very local experience. The bottled water were always there for so that customers can have access to it also same with fresh fruit (apple). The complementary breakfast was decent especially the fresh squeezed orange juice was super. The triple room was equipped with extra bed for a child and the rooms were cleaned daily. People are very friendly and if I visit again, I will definitely consider staying here again.

Spent alot of time deciding which hotel to stay in, and definately made the right choice. The cliphotel ticked all the boxes and more, location was great, room perfectly adequate and very clean, good breakfast choice and staff very helpful and friendly, no complaints!

Even if it is not exactly center – it is only few stops by metro or, if you prefer to walk- around half an hour walk to the old center of this beautiful town. The hotel is very clean and modern, room was big, metro station just a 2 minutes from the hotel. The big shopping mall El Corte Inglés just around the corner. The shopping center including café and supermarket open daily to 23.00. It was very supportive, we came at ten o’clock evening and can buy a warm meal there.

We wanted a hotel which provided good-value accommodation and was near to a metro station. We couldn't have chosen better! We took the metro straight from the airport (one change) and the stop was almost on the doorstep of the hotel (look for the big paperclip sign). We were delighted with the top-floor room which had a king-size bed, TV, and a wardrobe which contained a safe. A kettle was apparently available on request. The bathroom was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. We weren't expecting such a generous buffet breakfast at the rate we were paying. It was better than many more expensive hotels we've been to. A great choice of cereals, fruit, juice, bread, pastries, and cold meat/cheese/eggs. Tip: don't go for the jugs of fruit juice, look for the fresh orange juicer where you can squeeze your own! A 10 minute metro ride took us straight to Sao Bento station in the centre of town. Very good value - we booked direct with the hotel's website and would return again.

I was very pleased with the size of the room. The room was very clean and the staff very welcoming. I have stayed in 4*+ hotels which weren't as clean as this. I did not try their breakfast. We were ravelling around Porto so we decided to have breakfast whilst out but I am sure the food would have been lovely. I will definitely be going back again as the location is perfect too. 2 mins walk from the hotel you have the El Corte Inglês store which is huge and has lovely things.

The ClipHotel was fantastic value for money. It's a lovely clean hotel situated an easy 15 minute walk from central Porto and also has front door access to the metro and buses. The staff were wonderful, the room was spotless and the beds comfortable. Free coffee, tea and water is available in the lobby and you can also purchase a variety of alcoholic drinks and bar snacks. Well worth the €266 for a 4 night stay.
