Centrally located. Well informed, courteous staff. Clean, well equipped room. Easy walking distance to museums, shops and many good restaurants. Good parking facilities.

This Holiday Inn is a fine option for a stay in downtown Portland. Easy 15 minute walk to Old Port and the waterfront. Rooms are standard and decent-sized. Nothing exceptional, but a good overall value. The included breakfast includes cook-to-order options, not the standard buffet. This was awesome!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is slightly dated but very well maintained. Bar, restaurant, pool, gym, and office all offer everything you'll need for your stay...both business or pleasure. Thanks!

Good place for good price close to the concert you would be happy if going to concerts

We stayed here last minute for an event at the arena, which was right next door. Nice hotel with a restaurant and bar and parking was cheaper than other hotels I've stayed at in Portland. They had a shuttle that would drop you and pick you up from anywhere in the Old Port area. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful experience. Took our kids there for Disney on Ice. Within walking distance of the Cross Insurance Center. Very clean and comfortable.

great location, clean, friendly staff. Parking underneath. Nice places to eat near by

The room was very clean and had a great view the staff was very pleasant at the front desk and very helpful

Great. Parking garage attached to hotel was crowded

We have stayed here three or 4 times over the last 10 years. It suits our needs perfectly. Nice walking distances to everything we love about Old Portland. Staff helpful and super friendly. Availability of shuttle to transport you is extra added perk!

There was a bad snow storm during the time we were coming up to visit family. Our cousin was going to pick us up that night, but we didn't want to risk him driving on too much ice in the dark. I booked this place one night in advance after finding about the storm. As usual the Holiday Inn was very nice and had a good size room with all the necessary amenities. Whenever I travel I choose this chain when possible, they are typically reasonably priced and this was no exception for myself along with my brother and his wife. The staff was exceptional, extremely polite and since nothing was really going on during that time of year I was able to have none business related conversation. They were very helpful in having us find food so late at night near the holiday. It was around 11 pm before Christmas and they helped us find a place that would deliver food!

We enjoyed our stay here, and especially enjoyed the transportation offered by the hotel shuttle. It was a nice walk to the heart of Portland, across the street from a great art museum, and a great place to stay without having to rent a car for our trip.

The hotel is fine but the woman who checked me in was kind of rude, which soured my impression from the very beginning. I asked about the parking fee and she became very snotty explaining it to me.

Hotel had great view of Ocean. Staff alert and responsive. Not a fan of paying for parking if you are a patron of hotel, but understand that parking is a premium downtown.

I will not stay here again. Parking garage is too small for SUV's, front desk staff was not friendly, room was not ready past check in time, toilet and shower both had issues and were in need of repair.

This was a graduation weekend. We wanted to stay in the Old Port as we were planning on going out in the Old Pirt in the evening and didn't want to drive. The hotel is older than other Old Port hotels and a 10 to 12 minute walk. The price is considerably less than other hotels in that area. Overall, worth the price and the short walk if your looking for Old Pirt hotel.

The room was fantastic and an easy walk to the Merrill Auditorium. There was a bit of construction going on, but we funneled through it easily. Next time I hope to stay longer. My rewards points have not shown up yet though.

I really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view of the bay from our room. Room was quiet and big. Bed was comfy. Location is great. A short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Self park for only $10 a day at the hotel's parking garage. Over all it's nothing fancy but if you travel with kids and all you want is a good night sleep, this is the hotel you need.

The staff was so helpful right from the start. I had mistakenly registered for a smoking room and asked if that could be changed. The person who registered us was immediately positive that could be done, and found a way to make it happen. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the proximity to downtown Portland.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I will pass this information along to our Chief Engineer to consider any possible changes the next time we re-stripe our lot. Next time you stay with us, you may want to inquire about the parking garage next door to the hotel. Parking in our alternate garage is sometimes easier, especially with larger vehicles.
