Perfect location in downtown Portland with gorgeous views of the Bay. Helpful staff and a comfortable room. Some construction at the property made the elevators inconvenient but it was still totally worth it.

The room was dirty. Only 1 of the 3 elevators seemed to be working with no signage to say if it was being worked on or that they were even out of service. When you tried to take the stairs instead, the doors back inside were locked so you couldn’t get back inside. TV was broken and would turn on and off by itself all night until I got up at 03:39 and unplugged it. Finally got to sleep after that. Room was frozen when we got into it as the heat was all the way off. Turned it on; went to our event; and, when we got back, the heat was turned off again so we had to go thru waiting for the room to heat up all over again. Worst hotel stay that I have ever had.

We have stayed previously and have enjoyed our stay. They are in the middle of renovations so plan some time waiting for the elevator during check out time. The beds are comfortable and spacious rooms.

Excellent location in Portland. Walking distance to the Museum and Maine college of Art, shops, restaurants and the water. Staff was friendly and quick to check us in.
