Nothing over the top, just exactly what I expected.

On a tight morning schedule ..get in shower and no hot water with no time to wait for maintenance..annoyed

Nice place to stay while shopping. Also a great breakfast.

We were given a room that had obviously been smoked in. When i told the desk clerk, her reaction was "we don't have smoking rooms", the point is, someone smoked in the room and it wasn't cleaned. The bed was soft and the pillows old. The tub was slippery with no rubber mat. We had to stay there for two days because we were too busy with business to change hotels or even rooms. Also, because the reservation was originally made through Orbitz for one day, I had to have two reservations for the same room, and come to the desk the next morning and "check out and "check in" including new keys. How stupid and time consuming! I am not only unhappy with this Holiday Inn Express, I am also very unhappy with Orbitz!!The Comfort Inn on the opposite side of the highway is a much better hotel and a similar price.

Great stay, very quiet and comfortable. Great location for visiting Multnomah Falls. Plenty of parking

Was clean, beds comfortable. Nice breakfast!!! would recommend to any traveler. We travel every month to Portland and stay at this hotel and have never been disappointed!

Stayed four nights with my family while vacationing at the Columbia River gorge and Portland area. Unfortunately I would not recommend this particular Holiday Inn. The hotel is situated between two truck stops right off the highway. The area is congested with trucks pulling in and out all day. Also the truck stops seem to attract people I wouldn't want my kids to be around. We never felt threatened in any way but I didn't like some of the people hanging around. The other major issue is that our room had that musty old smell. The rooms are woefully outdated particularly the carpeting (probably the cause of the musty old smell). I like the feel of clean carpets and beds no matter the cost of the hotel I'm staying in. I realize we stayed at a budget hotel but didn't think it was worth it. The free daily breakfast was nice.

I have been traveling for a week and staying in various places in Oregon. This was the best night's sleep since I left home...spacious room; clean (but that is expected); extremely comfortable bed and pillows. In addition, the AC was such that on low, it was a cool and quiet night. As a bonus, when the curtains were pulled...a VERY dark room, perfect!

Neat and clean. No problems no noise located next to a truck stop but was not an issue. We were passing through on our way to Vancover and it met all our needs.

Second stay here, so it must be ok with us. Clean and quiet with a helpful staff. Good breakfast included. Pool and hot tub were well-maintained.

We checked in right on time and got a very nice room. The hotel is close to an outlet mall and a few different food options. Breakfast in the morning was not bad, lots to choose from! Overall a good stay.

Everything was as described, the location is difficult to get to and from, not the hotel's fault. Very satisfied with staff and room

Very nice updated holiday inn clean rooms friendly staff couldn't ask for a better stay even if it was just for the night great way to start out a family vacation

ARRIVED LATE EVENING - ALL IN ORDER - WAITING FOR US. ROOM CLEAN, GOOD CLEAN HOT WATER FOR SHOWER/BATH. WOULD DO AGAIN!!!

very relaxing!! the beds and pillows were wonderful!!

Desk & breakfast staff were pleasent to get to know.

The night check in person was not very helpful and a bit rude. The weekend guy was great! He brought me a working hairdryer and helped me locate the site for the wedding at Edgefield. Thank you so much [...]!The fitness center was a big let now!

We stayed in this hotel the first year it was built and returned throughout the years. It has changed hands over the years but remains a clean hotel with excellent staff. Amenities are adequate but the hotel is in a truck stop neighborhood with all that that entails. Hot breakfast was appreciated but as with all hotels offering breakfast, space was limited. Staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable. We'll stay there again on overnighters but wouldn't stay a week for a vacation.

The room was what we needed for this trip. However it is very difficult to find the driveway into the motel. On a one-way street in between buildings and truck-stops. Shari's is in the same parking lot so we didn't have to look too far for a meal. The hotel did offer a nice free breakfast.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Comfort Inn in Troutdale, OR. The staff was very friendly and the room comfort was great!
