Good experience staying here, super friendly staff.
The rooms are not sound proof. We were woken up several times between 1:30am to 3am due to partying neighbors in the room next to us and below us. If you want a good nights sleep, I would not recommend. Otherwise the facility was clean, room cleaned, and hot breakfast.
This was a nice place to stay in between downtown Portland and the Columbia River Gorge area. It was clean and quiet, and just a few blocks from the highway. There were a few restaurants and gas stations close by, which was convenient.
Not many restaurant options nearby. Noisy trucks idling out back.
This is my second visit at this Best Western. The room was quite spacious and clean. I was pleased with the location and their pool being open by appointment only with 30 minute slots. I will definitely stay here again.
Rooms and hotel were very nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and many options available. I wish I remembered her name but the lady servicing breakfast was very nice and attentive she made sure breakfast items were available and replaced quickly if they ran out. Our girls enjoyed the pool very much.
This Best Western location is very convenient, close to gas, coffee, highway, shopping, and restaurants. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Although in the middle of remodeling, the hotel was clean and quiet. Great breakfast and pool. Even better location for traveling to Mt Hood.
Clean and comfortable accomodations. Quiet and close to restaurants and shopping.
Nice hotel, and walking distance to outdoor summer concerts!
Dont buy the cancellation insurance !!!!!!!! And the Motel will not help if situation arises
Must be a perfect storm. After having to take my wife to the emergency room on Saturday night, I attempted to cancel my reservations for 3 room on Sunday morning (day of) around 9AM as my wife was too sick to travel. Contacted Orbitz, who assured me that due to the circumstances, they would be able to get my reservation refunded. On Monday, I received a message back from Orbitz stating the refund was denied because the hotel was Sold Out. Seems a strange reason. Of course it was sold out with the influx to see the eclipse, there has never been a better time in Oregon to have rooms to sell. When I called the hotel itself, they told me that they weren't even contacted by Orbitz until 11pm that night, so they had no opportunity to resell the rooms.Orbitz had told me that morning that they called immediately, while I was on hold, but that the person that handles cancellations would not be there until Monday. I'm not getting a straight story between Orbitz and the Best Western Plus Cascade Inn & Suites. This could have been handled much better, but instead I'm out the entire amount of the package. As a Quality Manager for Boeing, we come to town 150-200 strong with one of our planes in need of rooms and rental cars. I will carefully choose which chains we will stay at.
I rate this hotel as excellent in each category. I spent six days there and returned for a seventh. Nice staff. Great rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Even a guest laundry. Located on a quiet street near Troutdale which leads into the scenic river gorge highway leading to Multnomah Falls and others.
Overall stay was good. Fairly quiet. Bed was decent. However each morning a giant black ant was in the bathroom sink! And the second day neither room key worked.
Needed a place to stay after experiencing car trouble. Convienient, clean, and affordable
Would never use this hotel again. Staff very difficult to work with
