Room was not very clean and has a strange smell. Had to ask for the floor to be mopped because it was sticky when I arrived. Second night, my blanket had a sticky piece of candy on it. No drinking water in room. Had to pay to park which is ridiculous in my opinion. Breakfast is really good, so almost makes up for room. Staff at the front and breakfast area were very nice and helpful. Pool and hot tub were clean acne good temps.

The staff at Embassy Suites Hilton in Portland were amazing, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast also had a plenty of choices, which was a big plus. However, the suite itself was very disappointing. I am not a picky nor high standard kind of person, but, this needs some attention. The carpet had a lot of stains and felt so dirty. The bathtub was also poorly maintained, and in need of deep clean. Worst of all, the suite had a strong, unpleasant odor the moment we opened the door, it smelled old, musty and damp, like it hadn't been properly cleaned or aired out in a long time. (I wish I can upload photos here for proof) For the price we paid, I expected much better. It felt far from the standard that Hilton usually offers, and overall, I don't think it was worth the cost.
